Very good anti-smorc card, but not as good against aggressive decks that focus more on board control. Control decks must still be careful when including cards like this because of how poor of a draw it is when you're starved on cards, and how utterly useless it is against other control decks.
Also worth noting is that it isn't actually very good to play on turn 1. If you use it to kill the opponent's 1-drop it's just a 1-for-1, it could have been a vanilla 2/2 and have the same impact. You won't even be able to kill 1/3s. You have to play it when you have taken some damage to make use of the heal.
Strong, but situational. Not an auto-include, unless you run N'Zoth, then it might be a serious consideration.
This card is really useful in zoo. Zombie Chow would kill every 1-drop in the game (1/3s with 2 attacks) and survive. This is not a card for control (maybe except warlock), because it's a 1-to-1 card. Control needs to spend less cards than the opponent.

I guess you never saw how Zombie Chow worked so well in Control decks. Maybe it could work in Zoo too, but a gain of 4 health is very significant in early turns for Control decks like Paladin, Priest, Warrior.

Yes its so good in zoo, its so good to heal ur opponent for 4 late in the game, when u want to finish him off, such a good effect that Zombie Chow was played in zoo before. And its definitely not for control, I mean why would you want to heal urself and contest the board early as a control deck, right?
Zombie chow could kill a 2/1 and survive. This cant - and thats important. I dont see how this is really so good for control decks. 2 versus 3 health means a lot on turn 2.

Control Priest loves Zombie Chow, and also will love this. The health will be easily buffed by PWS or the new Kabal and then Combo with Cleric... Priest will now be busy with turn 1-4.... In addition, Priest could also use the new mini-sized Madness to control this card and gain tempo 4 Health.
I am so excited for this card! It's better than chow because it heals you! Also it's not a dead card late game unlike chow. I almost never see anyone playing chow in wild anymore but this will be in every midrange+control decks as well as zoolocks for the two free lifetaps. You wanted a 1 mana 2/2, you got it! Thanks Blizzard!
At least one of this will be in all my deck, unless there are better healing/taunt card in this expansion. I think it's better than zombie chow for control decks, especially warlock. Now all we need a taunt similar to sludgiee.

THE CONTROL META HAS ARRIVED!
Return of Zombie Chow
Well this card dodges pings, kills 3/2's, and heals your hero for 4 (I know it says both heroes but this will usually be played against aggro)
One of the best anti-aggro cards yet!
Another card to be added and be useful for Priest decks.... #BlizzLovesPriest this expansion
AMAZING for rogue! Finally adding a decent control package... even if it's using cards available to other classes....

Simple, elegant design. Kudos to whoever designed this one.
Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
This is a nice filler card for control decks.
Finally some decent anti aggro tech.
Zombie Chow is far better on turn 1, just because of the 3 health. but the 4 health restoration makes this card better in the late game than chow was.
My new favorite card !
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
Rogue got a huge buff.

"Let's go Holy Champion let's go!" Rah rah rah!
In addition, Priest could also use the new mini-sized Madness to control this card and gain tempo 4 Health.
Really awesome card but I disagree with this being "Better than zombie chow"
Having an extra health on chow is very, very important and I think that chow is better than this.
