A card designed for standard priest, dedicated to remove enemy minions and generate redundancy with silence effects to have secondary targets for it when you don't draw your big stuff early. Good blizzard, very good.
Yeah, I think that even if purify priest doesn't become a thing, silence/resurrect priest may.
Just feels like a 3/5 for 3 with almost no drawback to me. Like a Blackwing Technician you can run without DRagons.
It does have a drawback, but, more often that not it's going to be not that functionally different than a 3/5. Plus you get that bonus synergy with Northshire/Battle rage.
Seems really good in Priest. Blademaster on curve without Circle dies to 3 damage; this takes 5, and it might be worth the -1 attack. All the Hero power / Northshire / Circle possibilities, or just Resurrect the 3/7 if it does die, or silence it.
I think he is not as good as some people thinking. Yeah, 3 mana 3/7, heals and stuff, but still forces to use constantly hp on him just to keep him alive (which is basicly throwing 2 mana every turn) unless he gets silenced. So only resurrect priest will be playing it (no, I don't think purify will be a think), and rest of the priest archetypes gets much better 3 drop (3/4 which gives 3 health).
No.
You have the option to heal. You are not in anyway forced to do so.
Against warrior you are basically turning on your hero power. Where as against hunter you would use it to trade and play other stuff for your mana.
I could see opponent over-committing to remove this thing just in case the Priest runs some insane combo deck. High health like that with such low mana cost brings possibilities.
If anyone wanted a worse Injured Blademaster, look no further.
It's a 3/7 on your opponent's turn and if it lives, it's a 3/5 on your turn. You play cleric and heal it back to 3/7 and kill an enemy minion. Rinse and repeat. The 4/3 guy is only good with circle of heal or resurrect.
Very good in Priest : Injured Blademaster have that annyoing tendency to die very easily in the early game, this one will survive much longer: much better on curve.
I agree, expect it to be played alot in priest but we may see Warriors running that with rampage too and shammies with ancestral spirit.
I'm cautiously earmarking this as a card that's going to fly under the radar but define an entire deck or meta for priest. A blademaster that can't get insta bashed/executed/lightning bolted/frostbolted to death etc is fantastic.
Totally agree. If we're thinking of this card as a 3 mana 3/5 the turn it's played, it's a pretty good body, but the main problem with this is that it does damage to itself on the start of every turn so it's a good body for at the most 1 turn, but very strong if played on curve.
Outside of SW:P it's extremely trickty to remove it if it's played on curve. I think if anything it might be good to help priest with the early game, but what Priest really needed was a good 2 drop.

Very, very good, i'm pleased ^_^
i like it, it's in the lines of Wyrmrest Agent and not Totem Golem, and it's also easier to deal with him than golem,
this is How tempo cards should be done, fair and balanced instead of undconditionally broken. looking at you shamman -_-.
This might work better in Warrior than Priest. Armorsmith Battle Rage Frothing Berserker etc
Works better with divine spirit

CCGing since '98.
4th turn heal it and Crazed Alchemist priest turn 4 7/3 confirmed.
Nerf! #kappa (totes kidding, have to do that or people think I'm serious)
or keep it a 3/7 and give it taunt. Now priest has it's new Deathlord.
Not sure if hyped yet.
Obviously meant to be silenced, since you can't keep healing it, and it will kill itself very quickly... Dust.
(sorry Purify)
This one will make Priest great again
This card is insanely good in priest.
assumin it cant make two trades??????
Injured Blademaster's 4 attack makes a huge difference.
This and the 3/4 in resurrect priest. Curvestone here we go...
This+Rampage = 6/6 on turn 4. Ouch.
I really am curious about the next Warrior reveals
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!

Obvious draw engine for priest with Cleric. Might was well just put that in the box.
