Without buffs, it's a cheap roadblock that probably gains you 4 life. The problem with most of Paladin's heal is that it's expensive and/or inconsistent. This fills those gaps nicely and fits into both Control and Divine Shield archetypes. Seems great.
Idk guys, no card that supposedly synergizes with buffs ever really works. You can look at the 3/4 twins, Djinni, gargoyle, Echoing ooze and probably others I am forgetting. All of these cards are fine (except gargoyle) but they aren't good enough generally. This one is arguably the best card on its own, however, so maybe it will work. Cool idea.

The card isn't "supposed to synergize" with buffs, it just has Divine Shield which has natural synergy with buffs because the shields let you make max value trades or at least makes the minions more sticky. The fact he will heal more too is just icing on the cake really.
This card card on its own is just a solid 3 drop that isn't completely useless even if draw late.
Nice follow up drop after Doomsayer. I guess this card will be decent ,but only when you are in control of the match(empty board) or not to far behind.
Maybe balance wise this can be a legendary but character wise and stat wise it feels so.. lame.. I don't like it.. I hope other legendaries are more well known or more interesting..
If there is a Paladin buff deck, then this becomes a priority target for an aggro deck.
Only problem is that at 3 mana, it's kind of awkward. pop the shield and single target removal is pretty easy at 4 mana so it only works well if you are playing it on an empty board.
I think mainly the point is that it keeps an aggro deck from just going face and makes killing it a priority. Therefore it's an expensive annoy-o-tron at that point.
Not going to craft it, but I like this guy. The good thing about him it's that he's a 3-drop. I'm tired of wasting Aldor Peacekeeper for tempo to get to late game.

Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
As I understand card the text from Wickerflame Burnbristle , he would only be healing you if he gets damaged. So when the divine shield is hit, no damage is dealt and no heal would happen. LikeImp-losion doesn't summon any imps when it hits a divine shield minion. Edit: Got it
Shielded minibot for 1 more mana. Still with a nice effect (in particular if he gets buffed) and good against very aggressive decks due to the heal. But also reminds me on Silent Knight.

It's not damage he takes it's damage he deals. Read the card.
I am honestly pretty disappointed in this card.I mean,it's solid, but first of all paladin doesn't need more heal and 2/4 heal is pretty irrelevant. It would be much better if it had like 4/4 stats and cost more accordingly. In control paladins it's pretty much useless, stats are not enough to police the board sufficiently and heal is not needed in this stage of the game, probably would be only good against face hunters. In aggro pallys it's pretty bad because of its stats and i have never played midrange pally so cant really say anything. However to people that say with a buff it's pretty good-well even a silver hand recruit with a buff is pretty good and i dont see myself building half of my deck around one card so it can be good.Right now it's just decent, should never be a legendary.:(
Agreed, the card is good but in an awkward mana spot.
You do not need heal on t3, it would have been better as a 5 drop since on t4 you usually want to play truesilver or consecration. At t5 you also start to need heal against aggro decks and it better gets in line with Swagnaros Lightlord on t8.
5 mana 4/4 would have been nice (8 heal with double ping).
Like i wrote here previously it almost never be a good turn 3 drop , but its good when you have the board, or after a clear (turn7 Pyro+ Equallity+ Wickerflame Burnbristle)
The question is in what direction Pally will go, it looks like they try to push aggro were he is only meh if you topdeck him later . In a midrange version he could be good since you can use the extra heal cause in midrange ppl will probably only run Ragnaros, Lightlord as a healing card. Therefore Paladin needs more tools (and not to many Priests on laddder.......)
Wow is this card boring if you consider it being a legendary. I am not super hyped about it but I guess it is playable.
Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
at least he can trade with a 3/4 minion and is good vs aggro...

Has anyone confirmed if you even get the 2-4 heal if enemy attacks this minion?

Nice target for let me change your mind.
not bad if this would be epic card, but legendary?
Where shall I start...

Turn 3 -> Wickerflame Burnbristle.
Turn 4 --> Silvermoon portal into Mistress of Pain
Concede.
