This card seems absolutely busted to me. It's basically a freeroll 1/1 charge in every pirate deck in most games. This might be the most overpowered card ever printed and I think it alone will make pirate warrior tier 1.
So basically, the first pirate you play causes this to appear from your deck. A nice boost to rush decks I guess, since the first pirate will almost certainly come on turn one or two.
So does this go off only once, or every time you play a pirate? I guess a free 1/1 charger is pretty cool, but I don't think I'd craft it if it only works once.
Wild oil rogue, you know the Southsea Deckhand version, even if you don't believe it, 1 damage matters a lot in that deck,
edit: just had a look at the picture above, gang-up combo pirates sounds fun as hell.
ANY pirate will summon this legendary. Wich means you can't play any pirate until you have some combo cards to buff it.
What? Play any pirate, you gain a 1/1 charge free, give your opponent 1 damage and who cares if dies? Don't cost you anything in resources or tempo, only disavantage if the game go from fatigue but if come to this your pirate deck already loses anyway.
Obviously very good and autoinclude in pirate decks, free 1/1 charge + pirate tag + deck thinning, but doubt that it's strong enough to be meta-defining.
I'm curious what happens if you play Bloodsail Cultist as your first pirate. Does this card enter before or after the battlecry?

I don't think so, as battlecries always seem to trigger first. Check it with Snipe - you can play a battlecry minion and that battlecry will trigger before it gets hit for 4 dmg.
Just play any Pirate and double Cold Blood :)
Well it's obviously a legendary to prevent you from having 2 of them in your deck. That'd be OP.

Not a bad card.
But I was honesty expecting MUCH MORE and a lore character as a legendary pirate from this expansion...

I'm sure there will be cards that justify its existence...
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Cant wait for this guy its so sick, will be the first I'll craft golden.
Playable in a Pirate deck. It's basically a free 1/1 charge, unless you draw it, then you're just sad.
Are you a cleric or something?
AWESOME!
Combo
Skycap'n Kragg + 3 mana cards that give attack, or even better play a pirate like One eyed cheat than Skycap'n Kragg and somthing with the rest 2 mana
edit:Infirc is right, gang up with pirate like Southsea Deckhand sound looks a lot better.
Pirate Buffladin?

I've no clue what I'm doing...
I wish this set included hybrid minion types too, in addition to tri-class cards.
It's pretty obvious Patches is a demon.
