Below will be my personal list. Feel free to let me know what cards you would like to keep in standard rotation. Note that in my list, i have only included the cards I believe NEED to stay. There are a TON of cards that would be nice to have, but I think some cards are just that good for the game. I am also not including class cards, as they are inherently not good for the game as a whole.
None actually except thaurissan but this one only for combo decks (grim patron I miss you :/ ).
Naxx cards were powerful when they came out. Just try the old decks now in wild, a shaman or a mage just compete like they are alive since 1990. Gvg was powerful in case of rng, guess shredder would have seen still play when the 2 drops wouldn't be that bad nowadays. Brm is like a troll expansion to fail on itself and the rest is just a story. You can't really keep cards when blizz just powercreeps other cards. Like now, they are just too overpowered. Loatheb as an example would be insanely good but the problem is that it is a 5/5 body for 5. To be playable, it needs at least 1 more attack point. Otherwise, your opponent is just gonna ignore his spells and play something with 6 health
Even the classic set shouldn't be kept in Standard.
Because that is great for new players, right? ALL cards you collect from packs will rotate... not to mention, the game new player experience is designed around the free/classic interaction.
Standard has proved to be a pain to balance because classes get buffs and counters at very uneven levels. Next one will smash Shaman (trogg, golem) and Mage (torch, flamewaker), while Druid will get a massive buff. Priest was demolished last time (deathlord, lightbomb, dark cultist, velen's.)

Dealing with this issue is close to impossible...

NO CARD SHOULD REMAIN IN THE STANDARD ROTATION, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF HAVING A ROTATING SYSTEM. It works in other card games, it will work here.
After 2 years (almost 3) of HS people should know already what a card game is, there are plenty of articles and info on-line for people to know that: Reprints exist. That functional reprinting exist, that strictly better and strictly worst printing exist. Please, learn and please stop trying to make the game more stale as it already is.

Reprint is just that. A reprint. Why would you need to reprint in a non-paper based game? Why reprint when you can just modify the card.
And I believe some cards should stay in standart, like all the LoE legendaries.
I definitely agree that all the tech cards should be kept. This game is based on counter play, and if the cards that counter other cards get rotated out, that's a limitation on designspace for the devs.

Because reprint is not " just that" reprinting a card beside the function to lower it's monetary cost (wich will means nothing to HS) is also to reuse an existing card, you want diversity? You don't make things stay, but reprint them, forget abou thaurissan for 2 years or 3, then boom! reprint, nostalgia attack into a meta that really needs him and not just make him stay permanently.

if not i think standard is going to die slowly becouse they have to always print the exact cards over and over again,,, i mean emperor is in so many decks right now.
2) Deck defining cards and niche cards for decks that don't exist. This includes some unique cards btw, as long as they're weak enough. For example Micro Machine, Master of Ceremonies, Gazlowe.
3) Basic support for decks that don't make the decks viable by themselves. For example keep Blackwing Technician and rotate all other dragon synergies out.

There are already a million of these threads.
But I will be extremely sad to see Elise Starseeker go.
It's one of the only ways to make a decent anti aggro deck viable.
THIS. IS. WHAT. WILD. IS. FOR.
Even the classic set shouldn't be kept in Standard.

After so many threads about this, I'm gonna answer: GET A GRIP GUYS.
IN STANDARD NOTHING* IS FOREVER. It is its fuqing definition.
IN WILD EVERYTHING IS FOREVER. Again, that's its definition.
If you mix things up, then what is the REAL difference between the two modes?!?
One thing is liking a card, another is wishing for it to stay forever in the mode where nothing is*.
Stop being happy for the demise of Boom while openly wishing for Thaurissan to stay forever. That's illogic!
*except Classic and Basic

Some tech-cards should be evergreen imo, because there are clearly some missing in the classc set, we have: The Black Knight, Big Game Hunter, Doomsayer, Spellbreaker and Mind Control Tech but should add:
Kezan Mystic
Loatheb or smth slightly weaker with a similar effect.
Deathlord
Zombie Chow
Shrinkmeister

At least a few...
emperor
Some Dragons.

Loatheb
The interesting, unique and strong meta defining cards are the ones that absolutely need to rotate out. What needs to stay is:
1) Filler cards. For example Spider Tank, Puddlestomper.
Sludge Belcher
Hope is an illusion.
