Yogg can't be a fun card anymore. Why? Fun yogg decks, like lock and load hunter, or miracle yogg, aim to stall the game just to drop a big yogg, but now it will be dead within the first 8-10 spells, and that really sucks. The idea of playing Yogg, even for fun, is to cast a big array of spells and unleashing chaos.
While I do aggree those decks are fun (in fact, Yogg & Load hunter is the most enjoyable deck I've ever played) you have to aggree it's unreasonable to have a card that decides games based on 100% rng. I've had scenarios where I had all the removal, healing and tempo I needed and I just lost because my opponent got retardedly lucky. If you want a card game based on skill, Yogg can't be a part of it.
He will probably be pretty unplayable now. He had high variance before and now the bottom has gotten even lower which means on avg he will be negative to play more often than not. DE for 1600 dust
I just DE a golden and a comum yogg FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
That was a bad idea... I think it was pretty obvious he was going to be nerfed at some point. Granted this is much sooner than I would have ever anticipated.
In the begning of the WOG yogg wasnt seen as a good card.
Think this nerf will really make the card less 'fun' as it used to be. Honestly, why not just announce a tournament ban for that card and leave it alone for the rest to play. To make things worse, the 5 hp doesn't really help too... :/
Holy fucking shit m8 the rank 25 meta in this thread. Guys, yogg Nerf was absolutely necessary for comp. play reason, it was threatening to ruin the pro scene much how the p8rn warrior was back then.

Totally necessary nerf. Basically on ladder, players were using this card to stall the game to 10 mana (not hard for druid), and then flipping the game completely around. If you didn't play your own Yogg to flip the game back to your side, you were severely disadvantaged.
A 10 mana "I win!" card is not good for this game.
That the effect is stopped after he leaves the field is perfectly reasonable and also makes sense. But that the effect is stopped when getting silenced (which doesn't make too much sense) and that he didn't get a now much-needed stat-bump prevent me giving the nerf more points. Summa summarum, it is not a bad nerf per se, but it is also not amazing.
This is a fair nerf. This is what the card should have been like from the start.
To elaborate, it was said multiple times that Yogg is the one casting the spells and not the player. This is also why your minions which interact with spells that YOU cast don't interact with Yogg. If the caster is dead he can't cast spells anymore so if Yogg dies he should stop casting spells because he is dead.
NOOO, I LOVE THIS CARD!Even when he hit my face with pyro and goes to fatique with my cw and just drop astral <3
Fine, I guess. Anything that makes Yogg-Saron, Competitive Hearthstone's End worse is a win in my book.
Fuck cubelock
Fuck cubelock
Meh. Now effect is even more random.
Oh, okay, so we can make fun wacky decks as long as they aren't viable? Delightful, Blizzard. Flawless design logic.
Now, to decide what to spend my 3200 dust on.

Play Yogg, hex on Yogg have 0/1 taunted frog for 10 mana. I can hear my opponet say ''GREETINGS''.

What pisses me off is this is a nerf because they KNOW it will more than likely kill itself.
is there going to be full return of dust like last time?
