Card Design ChampionSecondly how do you nerf a card, without changing it's nature/ it's flavor? And I have another question: Why should such a card be included in competitive decks anyway, even if it's nerfed, as you suggest. After all Yogg's middle name is RNGeesus himself. Imo things will get even more complicated, if people constantly demanded nerfs for a card. For me the easiest (and probably the best) solution for yogg is just to be allowed in casual. As simple as that.
Look man, not many people care for ranks. Some people just want to have fun and experiment with cards. I understand why you don't like to lose to Yogg - me neither. RNG makes the skillful play irrelevant, it's not fair that a person, after making some mistakes, gets rewarded and takes the lead. It just destroys the meaning of competitiveness.
Note: the other three mentioned cards have their weaknesses, but were made that way. They didn't lose their nature. Prince Malchezaar draws you potentially dead cards, Nozdormu is expensive and I'm not going to discuss Elite Tauren. Point is - they weren't changed, they stayed as they are.

nothing makes yogg worst in the set.
I don't get why people hate yogg so much but were perfectly ok living and dying by where Ragnaros' 8 damage fell. Yogg only shows up in niche decks and has a big chance to harm the player as well as the opponent, there was no reason to nerf him. The full Yogg Battlecry was the most exciting thing in the game.

Card Design ChampionAh, you got me - because I really, really wanted to win with my Randuin. Don't want to be sarcastic here, but now I have to disagree. I just want more fireworks. And is it really that bad, that I want to see more of that? In Casual? I'm sorry, that I've constantly repeated that, but people kinda forgot, that that's the (main) purpose of this format. A format, where you don't have to be a try harder, where you can goof around more. Why not support this format? Why not put fun cards in there, so that people will be motivated to go there more often. There is still a format, called tavern brawl - I hear you say, but there's a set of rules, which you have to comply with (= you can't (always) bring your favourite deck) and sometimes you may not like it too.
Back to the topic; of course I still use Yogg, because he does stupid things, but now it's not that satisfying to play him, because:
- the show ends pretty soon;
- how often do you get to play Yogg anyway? I mean it's not always, that I manage to get to turn 10 with my fun deck, yet alone draw yogg and play him.
And I'm not complaining, that I didn't get to a win streak with him. It's not about winning, it's about using/ playing the most of your deck and getting to see a show. I care about fireworks, not a game swing.
And why should such a card be included in top tier decks anyway? What's the point of being a competitive deck, if you will rely on RNG to win you the game? It's just not serious, even if playing Yogg will most likely lose you the game.
The best card / worst nerf ever made in HS.
The card was made for casual games, then nerfed because of serious games.
So why would they print such a fun card in the first place only to destroy it?
The solution should have been to leave it intact but make it Wild / Tavern Brawls only. Simple as that.
And by the way, Yogg's Battlecry should work as if he is NOT on the board yet, as with ALL the other Battlecries in the game.
Developers' inability to balance is one thing; players choosing to abuse it is another.
If a card is a problem for tournaments... ban it in tournaments?

I had an awesome Yogg moment, where my opponent played Yogg, and a couple of spells in, casted Treachery on himself. Yogg came to my side and continued casting his random spells, but for me! I got a secret and a few other benefits. Opponent conceded. Got a good laugh!

I was happy that this card got nerfed. Even if it wasn't nerfed, I wanted it to be banned in Tournament and Ranked play.
You guys want to comeback after a game of bad play? You thought that Mid Shaman at that time was too "cancer" that you want them to be punished? You guys who played Yogg in rank were the one that should be punished. Yogg is made for fun, which means that Casual play should be his place.

Card Design ChampionSince yogg is moving to wild permanently and theres a chance card might get their nerf reverted like molten did community should be vocal about returning our lord and saviour to its full glory! After all we all did it with deathstalker rexxar (kinda).
