I was playing in wild with control Priest against Cthun Druid. He had Crazed Worshipper on board and played C'Thun after that, meaning rightsided of the Worshipper (players perspective).
Since my plan was to bait him into overcommiting and he had a couple other minions on the board at that moment, I put on my evil smile and played Lightbomb. Then weird stuff happened.
Lightbomb hits all minions simultaneously, then card effects start proccing in play order. Crazed Worshipper proceeds to Buff Cthun from 13/13 to 14/14. Cthun however was already hit by Lightbomb, so technically dead. The buff still got onto Cthun, leaving him as a 14/1.
Needless to say, I was dead :D
Is this intended?

Hier gewinnt nur einer, St. Pauli und sonst keiner.
I guess the spell sets up the damage dealt to teh minion at the cast of the spell
So Lightbomb is cast then it calaculates how much damage is dealt to each minion then it deals the damage to each minion but Crazed Worshipper is damaged so it give C'thun +1/+1 now so C'Thun gets a +1/+1 after Lightbomb finishes to trigger.
I saw it many times if a minion gets buffed before the end of an effect that would kill it they don't die in the end don't remmeber a specific scenario ATM but your is one.. the death trigger happens after all other stuff, that's why killing a full board with Dark Cultist in it with flamestrike doens't save other minions since the Dark Cultist has a deathrattle and not a damage effect.
There's a youtuber who mostly does this kind of stuff it's disgusted toast so you learn stuff from him :P
It's a bug, same used to happen to frothing berserker the other minions would be damaged and he would die at the end of lightbomb, they fixed that thought, Disguised Toast on youtube does videos on this sort of thing. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUT8RoNBTJvwW1iErP6-b-A
It's absolutely not a bug. You misplayed. The damage and the damage effect resolved simultaneously. Same reason if you use crazed alchemist on a 0-attack minion with Brann on board, you will swap them to 0-health and right back to 0-attack without the minion ever dying.
It's intended. Disguised Toastrecently made a youtube video about the changes in the latest patch and commented that Lightbomb decides what amount of damage to deal to each minion before the interactions happens and changes things, thus no longer killing a Frothing Berserker that was played after at least to other minions.
Exact same interaction as Floating Watcher. If you hellfire while Floating Watcher has 3 health he'll survive. If Floating Watcher attacks into an Explosive Trap with 2 health he'll survive.

Probably not intended, as it would be quite rare, but sure is a good mechanic to know about.
That is definitely a bug and not intended.
There have existed similar bugs in the past.
The most notorious one being truesilver champion able to heal you back from 0 and below.
