So with the next wing being released tomorrow in the US, I'm wondering what people think will happen with the Curator,
When I first saw it the first thing I thought was it'll see play in Dragon Control which also runs Corrupted Seer and some beasts (maybe Kodo?) But what are your opinions?

Moved to Card Discussion
I think that The Curator is a very good card. If I would compare it to any card it would have to be Ancient of Lore which was so good in Druid that it was nerfed. It will definitely see play in druid and hunter (here Azure Drake can be used filling the 5 and 7 mana costs for Hunter) at least.
I would even say that this is the new Dr 7 since it is neutral and can see play in any class. It is better than Ancient of Lore because it's a taunt and it will draw for sure minions. The problem with the former was that you didn't know what you would get (often you would draw ramp, which isn't very useful on 7+ mana).
You should also consider the potential of this card in combo decks such as Mill Rogue and Malygos decks that really want to draw specific cards such as Coldlight Oracle and Malygos.
Only possible to play after a full board clear because 4/6 and 3 cards for 7 mana is too slow and a huge tempo loss aswell, you can get 2 4/6 for the same amount of mana (hi Veklor), will see plays in Paladin only
Remember when people were hyped about Troggzor? About Varian? Saying Boom was just "average"?
Yeah I do.
The curator will probably not see play because if you have no proactive battlecry or direct effect on the board in a tempo meta, your card is unplayable.
Who cares if you can draw 3 cards if that's to play a subpar minion turn 7 that will get removed by any turn 6?
Will be good in control decks. Even OTK decks? Draw Alexstrasza.

Yeah like you have to get to turn 7 first. I am actually pretty sure that this is not supposed to make some kind of animal deck. You just pick up one archtype and be happy with it as you will get value anyway. Playing these animal cards in beast druid or some kind of control hunter might be alright. And well if not curator is a 7 mana 4/7 taunt with drawing a card whitch might be alright as your opponent will go on to use a lot of removals on your other minions AND has to deal with this as well. I mean imagine playing this in hunter:
Turn 1: Fiery Bat; Turn 2: Frog; Turn 3: Animal Companion; Turn 4: Wolf; Turn 5: Any other kind of beast (charge giver beast probably); Turn 6: Hyjena; Turn 7: Curator + Draw a card. Your minions are now save!; Turn 8: Unleash the skill; Turn 9: GG lol
App you dont remember anything and just post hearsay..the reason people were wrong about boom was because noone knew what the boombots did..plz stop saying this dumb thing
You are the one who is posting hearsay. Boombots are released on the same time as Boom. You could clearly see the Boombot cards in Trump's portion of the review, and you can hear straight out from ThatsAdmirable's mouth that Boombots hits enemies.
The difference is, Varian is a tempo / finisher card, It's actually pretty good but it doesn't have a home yet, In control you'll just fatigue yourself and in aggro it comes out too late, Plus the old gods are just better.. The curator is most likely going to find a place in slower Combo or Reno decks, The most obvious choice is Murloc Paladin but i am sure that's not the only deck.
It's untrue that it has no board impact... a taunt automatically has board impact. Is it enough? Maybe... It will definitely see play in Paladin that can neutrilize the board fairly easily... and perhaps hunter, maybe even priest.
I just don't really understand why people want to play corrupted seers, kodos and azure drakes with this deck. I mean you obviously want to get value for their mana cost and not right after this has been played. AND if you play double from each, then your deck is just too slow. So it really doesn't make sense to play for all 3 archtypes. Good enough for 1, maybe if you try some hybrid decks 2 archtypes...
This is really good for mid-range hunter. Playing a 4/6 taunt and drawing an azure drake and highmane will probably win you the game. It also serves to thin your deck out, making it slightly more likely to top deck a kill command/quickshot/bow/cotw.

But don't need to be slow, you can use the dragon 3/2, the murlock 2/1 charge or the beast 1/1 discover when building the deck.
Of course the deck will be slow if people try Ysera/Nepharious, Corrupted seers and Kodo for The Curator.
I think people will try corrupted seers for 5 minutes before giving up on it. IMO the only viable murlocs are sir finley and murloc knight. (unless you are running murloc OTK or something) If those don't fit, it's probably better not to run a murloc at all and only run 2 of the 3 types.
Seems quite good.. it draws 2 cards and 6 hp is quite a good number 4/6 costs 5 mana.. drawing 2 cards for 2 is quite good.. also those cards are those you want mostly.. azure drake and kodo mostly..
TB I can only see this card work in paladin,Druid and MAYBE hunter..
It is a tough card to predict the viability until you start playing it. It could bring in lots of new archetypes and even add on top of current archetypes for many classes. Of course over the run, some will fall horribly and some will survive surprisingly to adapt to the meta after 2-3 weeks.
I could see it fits most in Midrange Druid, Control Paladin, MR Hunter, and maybe even RenoLock, Reno/Control Mage, Midrange/Control Shaman.

Honestly, it's a tough card to predict.
Personally, I think it won't be good, and it's way overhyped.
a turn 7 4/6 taunt draw 3 is good if you manage to make it work, but it's way too slow.
Unless everybody starts playing that flavor of the month resurrect priest/
Fuck cubelock
Seems to slow.
Chunky taunt that pulls an azure, a kodo, and murlocadin.
Pretty solid, not going to be everywhere, but still played.
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.

Nothing. No reason.
There's never a best, world constantly evolve.
Its good in control decks, so its not gonna work in this meta right now, which is sad.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.

Just remember the good times!
I think it's going to be great. Not meta defining, but good enough to be used in a number of decks. At draw 2 it's a better Ancient of Lore.
People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.

It should be really good in Reno decks. A turn 7 play that draws an Azure Drake, Stampeding Kodo and a Corrupted Seer. Ill take it.
