I will tell you if you didnt realized it yet: Reno decks wont begone after next rotation, Kazakuz and other "If your deck has no duplicates" stuff is too good to not play it even without Reno, perhaps we will get some nice heal options in next expansion or more Reno/Kazakus/Raza[...] like cards, Moving Reno into classic set doesn't make sense at all, and as I said no duplicates deck wont rotate out together with Reno so there is no point in doing it.
I think everything from LoE should move to Classic. They're all such incredible, well-designed, and balanced cards. LoE should be the one adenture that gets the Classic treatment and stays with us foreever. Blizzard will never have another adventure as incredible as this one.
No, Reno should rotate out. It's already too strong, and it's an unfair card, having to do 60 damage, and sometimes more, some decks can use Reno multiple times, making it like 120HP, 60~120HP against your 30HP is dumb.

I can't believe this is true at all. Reno is special because he is a 'don't lose' condition. The new highlanders won't make a difference against aggro.

This. Reno pushes a good, healthy game. Patches does not.
There is no point on breaking up the game in formats if we are going to have cards like Reno around forever. If you like your decks with him, keep playing them in Wild, cause you will have the cards. You may think: 'But I don't want to play against Boom, Belchers, Mad scientists...". And I ask you: How will people feel when they have to face Reno in almost every deck? With every expansion, every class will get more good cards, and in the end everybody will be able to play a highlander deck with consistency, so Reno will be an auto include. That's the kind of behavior that is not healthy, I guess.
Also, a card like Reno takes a lot of design space, specially if it's a neutral one. Look at all the complaints about Entomb and the poor removal options given to priest, for example. Also, it's not fair to let a card be evergreen just because people says so: new players will have to spend resources on it, but that is a nonsense, because you shouldn't need cards from old sets to have a good deck in Standard (that's the point of this format).
It also creates an exception: What happens then to Thaurissan, or Justicar, Chillmaw...? If they make an exception with Reno, people will be salty because their favourite card didn't make the cut, and everybody will have their point, because there are a lot of powerful cards that enable a certain archetype or make it powerful.
Another thing to consider is that LoE's code should probably be modified, because the change will create conflicts with it.
To sum up, I don't think that moving a card to a different set is a good idea. If you want to play a deck without worrying about rotations, try Wild. Thanks for reading :)
I think that the most iconic cards from every expansion should retire to an evergreen set.
Naxx: Probably Kel'Thuzad himself. The boss was hilarious and the effect is unique. Make him a memory.
From GvG: Annoy-o-Tron and Boom Bot as a collectible 1-drop. C'mon, there was a Tavern Brawl for these guys, new players have to know who they are.
From BRM: Grim Patron for the iconic sound clip. Oh shut up, they're not even ran anymore.
From TGT: Refreshment Vendor because Funnel Cakes is a running gag. New players have to know who started it.
From LoE: Reno Jackson. Not only is his sound clip iconic, he's also a "don't lose" condition for control decks that has an effect outside of the game: in the deckbuilder. He was the first to inspire highlander decks, and he deserves thanks for that.
From WOG: This one's tough. It feels like one of the Old Gods themselves should make it, but N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Yogg-Saron, Hope's End limit design space for powerful deathrattles and cheap spells respectively. It wouldn't really make sense to keep C'Thun either because his entire cult would rotate out. That leaves Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound, who isn't nearly as iconic as his three comrades. Tough times.
From Karazhan: Probably Prince Malchezaar because he spawned the 35 legendary deck or The Curator for his unique effect. Medivh, the Guardian limits design space for expensive spells, but I would have picked him otherwise (since he kind of hosted Karazhan in the first place).
New players shouldn't have to learn all the cards to be able to play Hearthstone, but they should have a textbook glance of its history. Make evergreen set a reality please. Also, most of the cards I'm suggesting aren't overpowered or anything, they're just really cool cards that define Hearthstone's history.
I certainly would not mind it. It's a unique archtype, that seperates itself from the current gutter trash of either pirate aggro or Jade Druid. I say this as a big aggro and shaman player. I'm not going to forward bs arguments to prop up my preferred ranking builds. I also believe Reno Priest and Reno Warlock are the most fun decks to build, tweak, and play after taking the new Kazakus builds for a test drive this past week.
No! That completely destroys the purpose of Standard!
Letting one card slip through the crack compromises the entire system. Players will demand other cards go through (whether they be cards that already exist or will in the future).
If they let Reno in then what was the whole point of the game modes?? People its time to stop relying on super heals for counters and find other tools in your arsenal. Blizz will definitely keep printing unique healing cards, just because one became so meta defining doesn't mean it needs to become Evergreen. Reno had its time, but the sun is setting on him and all of his friends.
And all of you that are worried about Aggro, DONT BE. We know already Blizzvdoesn't like it when the game is 80% aggro decks so some cards will most likely be toned down in the future. In the meantime, plan with what you DO have and make decks that can counter more problem ones. You will get new toys I promise :p
There is absolutely no reason for him to stick around because of the kabal legendaries forcing players to play highlander decks already.
The Kabal legendaries will not be enough to keep highlander decks relevant. Kazakus will also lose much of his power with Brann cycling out. The class highlander cards are not enough. One is good enoigh to see play, 1 rarely in the rare Reno mage, and the 3Rd doesnt see hardly any play at all in Renolock. They will need new tools constantly introduced which I am for, preferably at the start of new rotation.

Why should highlander decks stay relevant, to start with ?
My only issue with Reno is that long games in the ladder are a problem. That's why everybody is playing aggro when laddering, because the win rate isn't important, stars/hour is, and you can cram 15 games in an hour with a pirate deck.
The other thing is, playing reno decks relies heavily on draw RNG and rewards bad deck building. I do love playing them in casual for my dailies, but if I wanted to do the legend grind I'd rather cut my throat than have to face all those stall decks.

Because not everyone cares about grinding speed? Btw Is aggro so weak? Are pirates so horribly oppressed by Reno decks? Those nasty Reno decks are too much? Sorry but when I hit rank five within 3 days of the expansion release, playing a broken aggro deck on my phone, one handed, while my infant son spitting up Similac down my neck and shoulder, your complaints about long games and struggles of aggro players seem like something out of the twilight zone.
Then what's the point of Standard format then? I do get it, he fits so well in this current meta but if he stayed there, less aggressive deck will be there and Reno Jackson is going to be useless. Instead they will make more overpowered cards like him, if that's what you want.
Hell no, something as polarized as Reno Jackson should never move into classic set. I personally think aggro decks aren't even that affected by it, often times they don't have the time to dig for Reno against aggro. It's the midrange decks that suffer more, now with Kazakus they can withstand even more pressure and then bam they heal for 25 and have 6 more cards than you because they can lifetap with almost no consequences. Reno+Kazakus is the reason why you don't see much midrange or goon decks in the meta, the value you get from them is just too much for such a (relatively) small downside.
I don't think it being a polarizing decision, will prevent Blizzard from making that decision. Personally, I prefer cards with weaker effects for highlander decks than relying on drawing 1 out of 30 cards to win a majority of match ups.
The only reason which i personally find a very significant reason why Reno should stay is because he's the pinnacle of his own arch type. Without him passive control decks that want to solely rely on winning by outlasting and surviving wouldn't exist. It's actually really amazing how Blizzard managed to make Hearthstone much more diverse with just one card! And i think this one card made Hearthstone a more healthy game which i think is really important.
No matter what you want guys you can forget about blizzard making it. The only thing Hearthstone development team can do being opressed by community is nerf cards like they already did with tuskar totemic, yogg saron and many others.
Shove your reno and dirty rat / faceless po / mind contorl tech and other game ruining combos up your pooper :)

Explosive Shot => Meteor
Power Word: Tentacles => Spikeridged Steed

Its time for the dawn of a new Meta.

I like elementals and totems.

Much better candidates are cards that round out the class, like Jinyu Waterspeaker or Elemental Destruction.
