...Eh. These seems like it would only really do well in Deathrattle decks or when you have a large minion that you want to save from various removal spells.
Look at Darnasus Aspirant. Typical 2-mana body. Battlecry: 2 mana spell. Deathrattle: Undo spell.
Now I get the obvious Shadowstep synergy. So this minion deserves a typical 5-mana body, not a 6-mana body. And even if the Battlecry is undone, it's roughly equivalent to a Freeze, so -3 stats on top of that. Still, that would be about a 4/4, maybe a 3/5 or 5/3. But 3/3? That's just pitiful.
I think at 5/4 this minion would be great. Almost every class has access to a removal good against those stats (4 Attack would be a little unfair to Priest, 5 Health perhaps a bit too beefy). Sometimes Frost Elemental would be better (not healing target, not triggering Deathrattle, or having 5 Health matters), but normally not.
As it is, people will try to make it work before realizing the body is simply too easy to deal with. It's pretty much a Frost Elemental but 3/3 for same cost... a nerfed version of a card which sees zero ladder play
Is the Deathrattle on the card, or is the card a Battlecry card that it's effect gives this card a deathrattle?
If it's a Battlecry card that it's effect gives this card a deathrattle: summon X minion, Brann + this card would give this card 2 deathrattle: summon X minion. But it would means it does not get back with Nzoth.
If the Deathrattle is on the card, what happens when you kill a minion with it and then uses Ancestral Spirit on it (it get's back with the minion both times or only in the first death?) same question for when you summon it with Nzoth...
too many questions about the card to proper evaluate it.
I could be wrong on this but this has the Shadowcaster feel to it. I said Shadowcaster wasn't that good and outside gimmick decks it hasn't seen play despite the community saying it was amazing, based on the dream scenarios. I think this might have a similar issue. Shadowcaster was inconstant due to not always having a good target and this might suffer the same issue. The hype is all over dream scenarios like cairne, Sylvanas, chillmaw, tirion, etc. But I'm not sure it's going to be that great everytime. The advantage this has over shadowcaster is minions you want to play this might stick around a bit more. We shall see.
Exactly my thoughts. And these same guys are gonna answer that you then get a 3/3 for 4 mana with the same effect. Okay, cool. So two cards spent, 10 mana spent, to destroy two minions. 5 mana per minion. Oh wait: Assassinate. Which is not played.
"But it's a 3/3 body on the board" yeah that can bring back the minion you just destroyed, completely obliterating your tempo and card advantage. The card's idea is nice, but it seems people misunderstood it as it is simply not good.

Shadowcaster is awesome, but not in a meta where you die in turn 6 or 7 because smorc OP shit everywhere.
The problem is not Shadowcaster but Blizzard doing everything for only aggro and smorc decks be competitive.
Guys. Don't forget some things about this card: It works as a silence on buffed minions. It's a deathrattle minion: it comes back with N'Zoth. It gives you two times the killed minion with N'Zoth if it's your own minion. It works as a temporary removal. That way it saves you life points, at least like a Frost Elemental would. Twilight Summoner 's best friend. Is the card playable as a 3/3? Well, I suppose it is not yet but the potential at least is there. Really nice to see this kind of cards. Even if they end up being not competitive enough.
I'm currently running Shadowcaster in my Reno N'zoth Rogue, which get decent results. Do you guys this card is better than Shadowcaster in this kind of deck? Also If i resummon Moat Lurker with N'Zoth, if it dies again, does it summon the minion it destroyed again?
If you kill your own sylvanas with it then it counts like she was killed twice when you pay N'zoth quite good in control matcch ups.. which are like 30% of the match ups, and this play dones't outright wins you the game.. also cna't combo with sylvanas..
I still think it has some potential.. but it might be just too slow.
a lot of n'zoth decks already are tight on how many deathrattles they need but a non-n'zoth deathrattle deck might run it, it can definitely be a powerplay on a more powerful deathrttle card.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
hey guys i think if you kill an opponent minion you get it, i hope i am wrong
I also think that. In fact that was my 1st interpretation. otherwise, why would a 3/3 cost 6 mana if not for a strong effect (not OP as you all say - ever heard of Entomb? Cabal Shadow Priest? I could go on and on...
However, I hope I'm RIGHT, not wrong

are you meming? comparing this with old BGH LUL
Having a good time with the meta.
If you Moat Lurker a Moat Lurker that has Moat Lurked another Moat Lurker how many Moat Lurks?? :P
Reminds me of Banisher Priest or Fiend Hunter in MTG, both pretty good cards.

C'mon, Blizzard - at least 3/4.
Verdict: Bad.

My Ancestral Spirit/Reincarnate Shaman loves this card. How many Sylvanus' can i make? :evillaughter:
Moat Lurker into purify.
Bam! Priest fixed.

Hello.
With Evolve is really good.
Evolve is a great deck, you don't see because smorc is insany good right now, a lot of classes can do nothing vs them.

Wild decks with Kel'Thuzad , Stalagg, and Feugen would have some fun in a moat lurker / reincarnate deck.
Obey the call of Kel'Thuzad!

The dream
this to destroy sylvanas
feign death to get sylvanas back
feign death again.
Then get this killed. You now have 3 sylvanas and a good portion of the enemy board
