Very good card, but I don't believe it will find a place into warrior decks we have right now. Maybe in some tempo warrior. Not sure which impactful 4-drops warrior has tho.
Unplayable. Warrior doesn't have that many decent 4 drops to justify that amount of tempo loss. Just play Krokon Elite instead of this.
This is a replacement for Shieldmaiden - for 6 mana you used to receive 5-cost body and 5 armor. Now for 5 mana you will receive a 4 cost body and 4 armor. And it has the same synergy with shieldslam. I will give it a try in control warrior
But we dont have a choice if we dont ưant to play Cthun till next year. Classic Control need a shieldmaiden like minion and this is it, 1 turn earlier. And you can combo with the weapon from the new 8 mana mage legendary.
Hmm, I don't like it. It's worse than Shieldmaiden for multiple reasons.
1. It's inconsistent, and in Control you need to be certain of what you're getting, or you risk getting run over. 2. Gaining armor is more relevant later in the game when you have stabilized and need to recover. 3. In the Shieldmaiden days Warriors had Death's Bite, which both made armor important and secured the board on turns 4 and 5. Nowadays you need strong minions to do that. 4. When you lose tempo on one turn, you usually need to make it up on the next turn. Unfortunately there are very few ways to do that on turn 6 for Warrior. It's pretty much just Sylvanas Windrunner. Turn 7 used to be when Control Warrior dropped Gorehowl, Baron Geddon or Dr. Boom.
The saving grace of this card is the current situation of Warrior 5-drops, they're all pretty weak unless you're running dragons, so a random 4-drop might not be super terrible.
The other portal cards are much better than this one. It's the only one I look at and truly think "Well, why don't you just put THAT MINION into your deck? Or, I dunno, an actual 5-drop minion?" Bottom tier of the set, unfortunately.

Great comment, m8. Cannot reply to that, you're 100% correct.
well we have to work with what we get. If you not Cthun, you need more armor source. Foe Bane is no DB, but at least it somewhat secure the board on turn 5. Turn 6 we can gain back 4 health via armor, put a 4 cost minion on board at the same time and maybe shieldslam smthing, not too bad

Warrior doesn't care for this card.

Corvus oculum corvi non eruit.
It is a good one, but 4 mana have a lot of bad outcomes...
Yogg Warrior, new meta.
Good card if you play Classic control. Repalce the 6 mana maiden. Down side is RNG, upside is cheaper and you can put the 8 mâna mage Leg in ur deck
Arena card... maybe.

Great card, specially if you are looking for tempo.. it's not like warrior had any good turn 5 plays outside of azure drake
could fit tempo warrior.

If I have 5 spare mana I'd rather just play Fierce monkey plus hero power. At least fierce monkey isn't a dead card in my hand until turn 5.
Viable or not, this is definitely a fun card :) and still playable in some crazy custom warrior deck.

Garbage
4 mana 7/7

Its 5 mana man, not 6
