Priest's early game is still weak.
Silence priest is coming.
Honestly this card is not so bad as everyone thinks. Would be better if a 1 drop minion with fat stats and " Can't attack" was released to support it. Or something like zombie chow. Nevertheless, this card is better than Power Word: Shield in a silence deck. But there are already some cards which it synergizes:
Ancient Watcher
Silithid Swarmer
Eerie Statue
Darkspeaker
Moat Lurker
turn 2: watcher > turn 3: owl > turn 4: eerie statue > turn 5 darkspeaker > turn 6 silence your statue back to 7/7 with attack and Argus them.
I bet they are going to release a one drop zombie chow worth of stats to support this deck, Hand/silence priest, hands up.

Seeing cards like these really makes you question the people in charge.
We the Priest community need to look at the bright side as much as there can be. Blizzard is not going to improve Priest in the foreseeable future. I am taking this opportunity to focus on other classes until Priest is viable. This by no means makes me feel good, but it will allow me to work on mastering 1 or 2 other classes in the meantime. Since we don't know if Priest will if ever get fixed, we can only swallow our bitter bowl of gruel and continue on. It's definitely well done to let Blizzard know how we feel on social media. They already know there's a problem. We can only hope it gets fixed next year.
I've deleted every Priest deck and I simply won't be playing Priest until something is done.
I suggest boycotting the purchase via real money and purchase it using in-game gold. Blizzard may get the point in the only way that makes a difference to them, money and social commentary.
Garbage. And not just your run of the mill garbage. I mean radioactive toxic erase an entire class out of existence kind of garbage.

Oh my... is this the single worst card added to the game ever? All it had to be was a normal silence to be used offensively and this card would have actually helped priests in the aggro meta. But - nope - better make sure priests are absolutely helpless vs the 'gro.
Since this card is common, in arena this will show up soooooo much because of the boost for being new release. Absolute horrible in constructed and below average pick in arena.
On average this ends up being just card cycle "2 mana draw a card" like the Novice Engineer minus the body. At best you get a Eerie Statue pick or another minion that's useless outside of silence, and draw a card while getting a minion that can attack.

It's not even A minion it's FRIENDLY minion, actually it's not trolling, it's an insult.
work's with erie statue and ancient watcher and 3 other cards, giving a total of 10 posible target's so actually migth be a card in silence priest. all do they should have released a couple of broken 2 drop's for priest. in arena this card is complete garbage, another proof that blizzard doesn's care for arena balance.
I want to cast this spell on Blizzard's HQ, maybe that will fix Hearthstone.

I've theorycrafted a silence OTK priest with barnes (and Eerie statues and sh*t) just for fun, i'll give it a try but I don't expect much.
It's like every class has another new decktype to play for. And then comes priest with dragons. If you are happy to live, you can put in some murlocs and biests in as well and pretend being a Animal Priest LUL
