With all the cheap spells used early on in tempo mage I can see two copies being potentially placed in the current standard deck. Definitely a card to watch out for across various deck archetypes that are spell heavy.
I'm pretty sure someone posted this card during a previous card design competition. Don't get me wrong, the card is good but it really feels like this whole expansion is just someone randomly clicking on cards on hearthcards.net and say "Um...sure, let's add it to the expansion".
soo if this card is allowed to exist (which btw is amazing AF ,love this card) , Why did you nerf Molten giant blizzard?
Warlock could get it to 0 or 2 by turn 6 without playing playing anythin and drawing cards from doing it. For Arcane Giant, you have to actually use spells, which, either you deplet your hand using cheap spells or it won't be less than 6 mana or so, which is in line with other giants. Decks like Yogg Hunter and Miracle Rogue can get it very cheap, but they need to set it up first, and auctioneer drops much later than moltens used to.
Rogue or Druid can cast 10 spells in a single turn, how exactly is this slow ?
So what? Which turn do you think will be the earliest to play this giant? A cheap 8/8 is nice, but it will be a dead card until the late game.
Ysera is slow. This isn't Ysera "slow". Playing this along with your other minions/spells for 2/3 mana or 0 isn't slow, you could use this as soon as turn 7-8 efficiently without breaking a sweat in some decks.
So it seems we agree on this card is unplayabe in the first 6 turns. This is what I call slow.
Amazing card, will see play in a lot of control decks, this is a big upside for control over agro, now when you board clear you also reduces 2 mana worth of value. in arena this is an ok card because you are expected to have al least 2 3 spell's and maybe you can begin have value with a 7 mana 8/8.
Now i can play Echo Mage in wild again!! :D
Wow - so cool. I voted "meta defining".
Also acts as a handy inline spell counter if you're wondering about whether or not to cast Yogg

Still waiting for Giant tag Xpact.
giant mage in wild is going to be even more awesome now :D
Looks really cool, IMO it looks like a mech, too bad it isn't one.
Blood Warriors Warrior with Arcane Giants? Who knows.
Molten Giant will never roll out, this will
Because a 7/7 for 4 wasn't good enough...Mage could probably get this out earlier.
My tempo mage will love this

Perfect, make Yogg decks stronger. Good plan! lol
This is a very powerful card for spell heavy decks and my new favorite giant
This is a very good card. Powerful in Standard, crazy powerful in Wild.
a lot of classes could run this, paladin hunter mage druid rogue, I like it.
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
