As suspected, the card has replaced forbidden ritual for me. The card simply out values FR most of the time (mana-stat wise) and is less susceptible to AOE.
This card is absolutely phenomenal in Arena. Warlock has become my 3rd best class behind Rogue and Mage because of it. I've had four 7-9 win runs on the back of 2-3 copies of this card. One of the great things with this card is that it makes other cards that might not be so good on their own, like Raid Leader and Darkshire Councilman, waaay better. The fact that you can reliably draft Kara Kazham! means that these cards go up in value earlier in the draft as well.
This card is moderate, considering the fact that it can be used for zoolocks and their habit of filling up the board, but barely for any other lock deck.

Lol. Blizzard you have some explaing. @BenBrode @ WizardsOfTheCoast
Really??? You had to make Darkshire Councilman that much MORE annoying????
-_-
Everyone's freaking out about this being an MTG card when in MTG we also had
Big Game Hunter: 3 mana, when this enters the field destroy a minion with 4 or more power.
Seriously, here's a fun exercise for all the MtG fans out there.
My unscientific guess is: not very many.
