Did you think that it makes STEWARDS for no reason?
While the potential Steward value is interesting, that seems like a highly unlikely combo to pull off - Steward is almost exclusively seen in aggro decks whereas Moroes is an extremely slow card.
Might see future play with more synergy, but as is this card is awful.
Steward's cost makes it so that it can be in midrange lists also. Plus, most successful Paladin decks over the seasons contained a mix of mana costs. Steward is amazing in most paladin lists. And i completely exclude N'Zoth Paladin, which is clearly a mediocre tournament deck and rather inappropriate for ladder.
It is funny how people judge this card has bad and at the same time think Malchezaar is amazing ^^ (and some people even think Barnes is bad.....)
(Malchezaar seems ok in some grinder decks, but it will just destroy your curve in any other decks.)
About Moroes, if it stays on board against zoo it is almost auto win, so buff it to 3 healths and your opponent needs exactly juggler+tentacules.
The main problem with Moroes is the tempo lost.
But if it forces aoe it is a great card by itself. Some deck want to bait aoe as much as possible (token druid, zoo, eboladin, even some N'zoth), it could see play in these ones.
Some kind of buff decks could also use it. Priest and druid already had these decks.
A eboladin list that ran divine strength could insert this card too.
It could also be a tech card against zoo in other decks.
This card is really interesting even if not the strongest leg revealed (Barnes, Curator).
Power word: Tentacles (or a lower one) and keep it stealthed. And hope that the enemy does not have brawl or Sylvanas (or save entomb for her) ;)
Yeah just pay two cards and 8 Mana for a 1/1 each turn value.
Mot like Warlocks have Dreadsteed or anything.
Imo you pay that for a 3/7 stealth + at least 1/1 and a 1/1 each turn after.
steed was first considered a neutral but was switched to warlock due to it beein to strong in other classes quote Def.Team. So if this is like neutral dreadstead almost confirmed its good.
but for real this card is not OP broken or anything but far better than people here make it, comparing it with Boogeymonster and stuff lulz.
even at 2 mana this card would be rubbish. at 1 mana it would be slightly OP, but probably no better than tunnel trogg, mana wyrmm and other top-tier one-drops.
total garbage at 3 mana, even with Darkshire synergy.
On the bright side this is the first (and so far only) card of the set that's been a complete wash.
Um with paladin you don't even need to buff its health with all of your divine shield options. This card could be worthwhile in Druid as a five mana 2 card spawner. I don't think that this card is ever going to make a game for you by setting up an OP combo. As long as it's a possibility, however, your opponent's always going to have to play around it. If your opponent uses their hero power even once on one of its summons, it instantly becomes a one cost 1/1 stealth spawner, which would be insane. If your opponent wastes tons of resources to destroy it, it's a win. This card isn't strong in that you'll drop it and the a nightmare will ensue. It has insane value for any deck able to give up the tempo to play it.

Steed wasn't considered to strong in other classes' they made it as a neutral because of one card and one card only ' the unnerfed warsong comandor!
Nope you obviously didnt read that interview it was basically to good with other classes. Warsong was only a part of that.

This card is the most useless legendary they could ever create, why is it still discussed?
If it were not for Ravaging Ghoul I think it could be a serious consideration in some decks so don't knock it too hard. It's a lot better than you give it credit for and its really good to get off of Elise Starseeker.
That being said, yes it probably won't see play because 35% of ladder has Ravaging Ghouls.
I'd rather have Dreadsteed.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
I'm just amazed at the amount of people who are evaluating a card without knowing the text on the summoned Steward.
Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.
bad but, what if you Power Word: Shield it :o
I vote for worst legendaries for the year Kappa
RNG love me Kappa

Pal there are far worse legendaries out there and this one might work in a divine shield paladin deck
ex:nat,tinkmaster,lorewalker cho,millhouse manastorm,etc.
yeah its just such a slow card and a 1/1 dies to so many things. this wont see play in token druid.
he shoud be 2 mana
Much better in Wild, where Dark Cultist and Velen's Chosen are things.
still waiting on that link bro.
