think of all the annoying 3 atk minionsWater ElementalTotem Golem etc its good and from what I understand you get to choose which one to kill and it's a Battlecry so you can combo it up with brann overall the card is good sure it might have poor stats but the ability makes up for it imo
Ah, ... hmm ... I wonder if this could, perhaps, fit in a deck mainly consisting of dragons. Just spitballin' here.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
I thought the effect was random just like Kodo at first but you can target it...That makes huge difference i would say its playable now...Will be limited to Dragon and Reno decks good chance.
I think this has great potential in Dragon Priest which can be slow with bad draws and so needs some later game tempo plays. Same logic applies to Dragon Paly and with Dragon Consort you could see some big swing turns.
But I don't think it will fit into Dragon Warrior with the 6 slot being owned by the Drakonid Crusher. Maybe a one of at most.
I think this card will see a fair amount of play and cannot wait to test it out :)
This card seems pretty nuts to me. It activates dragon synergies, has a reasonably sized body, and it kills something when it comes into play. There are tons of notable 3 attack minions in the meta right now for this to kill; fandral, violet teacher, twilight guardian, totem golem, thunder bluff valiant. And when you don't have a high value target? Most opponents will at least have something you can hit.
Not to mention that, other than drakonid crusher, dragon decks have been lacking a 6 drop. And I don't exactly want to play drakonid crusher in a slower deck.
Thought this card was meh until I realized it also activates all the dragon synergy cards. Pretty good card, although I don't think it fits Dragon Warrior that well since it's ability is pretty reactive. Dragon Priest could use more useful dragons and it's alot more consistent than Cabal if that was even played. Hope dragon decks don't die when Blackrock eventually cycles out though :(
for its cost it's bad compared to kodo where u dont have to hold nothing
I think you missed the part where this is a Dragon, it also kills 3 attack minions which is a big deal (unlike Kodo), the target is not random, which again in important, and its perfectly costed at 6 mana where it has almost zero competition (in Dragon decks ofc).
So no, its not bad compared to Kodo.
Yea, Book Wyrm will be replacing the Volcanic Dragon I've been using in my 23402343th iteration of my awful Dragon Priest deck. Woot!
The only downside is that in a world of Thing from Belows and Drakonid Crushers, this will be tough to fit into most decks unless Zoo is just super prevalent.

It still kills a decent amount of Shaman cards, such as any target Mana Tide Totem, or Totem Golem or Thunderbluff or Tuskarr. Even Alalkir?

I dont think that was his point.
There are many good targets for it and dont get me wrong its is a decent and playable card... but it suffers for the same reason Shaddowword Pain does. Its situational effect. Also the competition for 6 drops is really high. Nowadys i see only high value cards at that spot, like Emporer or Powerhouses that win you the game almost with their board presence f.e. Sylv,Savanna Highmane,Drakonid Chrusher and so on.
This is also a reason why i dont see Ivory Knight going anywere.
so basically it's a water elemental without the freeze option + a shadow word pain. it needs a dragon to be activated but it is a dragon itself and unlike shadow word pain it can't be played early game so I say it's not THAT good but since there are no removals like it except shadow word pain which is a class card it may see some plays.
Pretty strong, has potential but It's semi-redundant with other powerful cards that already aren't seeing that much play due to their cost (Cabal and Kodo).
Yes, the fact that it's not random and can target 3 attack minions means a lot, but it's also a conditional card that costs a lot of mana. Preferably you want to kill mid-range cards with it, not aggro, cause aggro is all about tokens and very cheap stuff.
Unless meta becomes all about mid-range decks like Dragon Warrior (this card kills "itself" and kills the taunt dragon), this card will probably become limited to being a tech choice for tournaments / higher ladder tiers. It's definitely powerful but it's applications are pretty narrow, unless...
Dragon Paladin becomes a thing. This is a strictly better Kodo for a control Paladin, but needs several dragons to be consistent. At the other hand a consistent Kodo isn't the only thing that Control Pally misses, so it's not up to this single card to make the deck work.
Finally due to Tirion, control pallies are skewed towards N'zoth, not drakes. Ideally they'd need a card that fits both the dragon and deathrattle theme - like Chillmaw, only smaller.

One more joins the Dragon army!!!

Good card. I can see this in dragon priest, dragon paladin, and slower versions of dragon warrior.
Just wondering if dragon DRUID can now be a thing. Since this card would be wtf AWESOME if innervated out on turn 4.
Kodo was viable in any meta. And Wyrm is even better. Good card.
It's a neutral version of Cabal Shadow Priest at the same cost. It's Water Elemental stats (4 mana) + Shadow Word: Pain (2 mana), which is a prime stat line combined into 1 card.
The only downside is that in a world of Thing from Belows and Drakonid Crushers, this will be tough to fit into most decks unless Zoo is just super prevalent.

It's playable but a pretty ''meh'' card imo. If I ever make a dragon mage and lack cards I'll tech it in.
Fuck cubelock
