On the picture the Big Bad Wolf doesn't have the beast tag, is that a mistake? Seems like it should be a beast. If it's a beast I think it's a very good card, but not meta-defining or anything.
C'mon guys, I confirmed both are beasts with a video in this same page, is really that hard to read some comments before posting?

some people here still didn't grasp the concept of rotating sets..
maybe we don't deserve more deck slots after all..
Sticky, low-cost minions will ALWAYS see play in Hearthstone. My only problem is that the Big Bag Wolf is not a beast, but otherwise, great card for hunters.
Since my last post they added beast tag. Which ofcause changes things a bit up. Not much thought the 1/1 is hardly relevant and the 3/2 is just a vanila 3/2. One could argue that huge toad or Elek are both better.
So... they're gonna make Hunter the Naxxramas class? Bunch of minions spawning more minions that are so hard to finally kill they just get to go face and let the opponent deal with the board?
not only do i think this is a very good card, i think i will need 2 of them in my hunter decks once elekks fall out of standard. thank goodness for this replacement.
edit: after reading more posts in the thread, i agree this is another pair to stick in a deck with huhuran and that will probably work well.
also i would consider this a decent replacement for a loot hoarder or maybe even an acidic swamp ooze in my hunter deck.
Idk, this card seems really good in matchups hunter was already winning (Warrior) and bad in matchups hunter was already losing (Zoo and Shaman). At least it is a counter to Ravaging Ghoul (that card is so OP omg).
btw, Ben Brode is really trying to push hard for Mid Hunter, it seems.
It seems like a good addition againts both Shaman and Zoo, actually. Not going to even the matchup, but it seems better in the attrition wars than Huge Toad, don't know.

This card replaces elekk though which is most of the time a bloodfen raptor.
I mean if ur an experianced hunter player ull know that a hunter would never want to play a 1/1 for 2 mana, it wount challenge anything on T2 by it self
or an experienced hunter player might know that he/she doesn't win on those early turns and would appreciate the sticky body to combo kill command or houndmaster off of.
-Flavor wise this is retarded, because this is a worgen and worgens are not beast, not in WoW, and not in Hearthstone. Is Houndmaster a beast ? F*cking no. Is Raging Worgen a beast ? F*cking no. Is Kindly Grandmother a beast ? F*cking no.
-Balance wise this is retarded, because an overstated sticky beast that generates another beast is ridiculously broken, as if Call of the win wasn't enough. If this wasn't a beast it would be a really powerful, healthy card.
At the very least I can now make huntards rage-concede with Earth Shock.
Can't tell if trolling or just ignorant.
Have you seriously never heard the fairly tale?
It's a wolf, not a worgen. Even in grandmother form, it's a wolf.
True, some liberties were taken by having the deathrattle summon a wolf instead of an actual grandmother, but I figure it's really a case of the "death" of the 1/1 just being the removal of the costume. (This has precedent in the Masquerade Tavern Brawl.)

This card is playable but not OP. Huge Toad is better, but ofc you can run both. This is basically a 1/3 with enrage: +2 attack (hey a better Warbot) and a divine shield-ish since it can't be killed by 3 damage source, eg. Winaxe or Darkbomb. It could also be thought of as a 3/2 that has summoning sickness for an additional turn, similarly to a Twilight Summoner.
one of the weak points of hunter is that he can't ping without using specific cards. This piece of crap, along with other cards that generates tokens, solves that problem.

The most comparable card to this one is Haunted Creeper you don't add stats like that on deathrattles.. if so harvest golem would be broken..
You are trying to explain a deathrattle effect using other effects.. it isn't really it.. a deathrattle also have bonuses on hunter aswell it's also always a beast so it's also something important..
For anyone comparing Kindly Grandmother to the old Haunted Creeper, isn't it much worse than Haunted Creeper?
Haunted Creeper created 2 tokens which were a really big hassle to efficiently remove, but Kindly Grandmother just creates one body. Also, her initial body is just 1/1 and can be contested by Turn 1 minions.
So, isn't Kindly Grandmother pretty bad if the opponent has any 1/3 Turn 1 drop (like Northshire cleric, Mana worm, Tunnel Trogg, Finely) because they just trade their 1/3 into your 1/1, then use a removal spell on the 3/2?

Doubt this will see play.

Has Blizzard not learnt that deathrattle creatures which summon stronger creatures are really strong?

what a great time to be alive
Except that one damage isn't random and it's also a beast activator. This card is better than Huge Toad without a doubt.
