These are very similar cards (rarity and manacost) although there is a huge difference. Blade fury destroys the weapon and therefore the Rogue cannot attack, but Savagery does not remove Druid attack and he can attack at the same time. This seems overpowered in my eyes, it is also a very big factor in the druid win over the rogue in the latest fireside duel.
you're not the only one. Savagery used with other skills is overpowered. The maximum a rogue can get with bladefury is 4 dmg (assassin's balde+hero power) while druids can stack bites, claws and hero power to deal 12 dmg (2bites+savagery) or 13 dmg (2claws+1bite+heropower+savagery) to all targets (deathwing is the strongest minion based on attack and life and you can one shot an army of deathwings) then attack be free to attack the enemy hero with 12 or 13 dmg.The only disadvantage is you play a lot of cards to achieve this but still ı think is op as fcuk.
Yup, this is the problem with cards changing (well not a problem because its good they change) , but as they ballance the cards better, the post becomes irrelevant.
yes the armors are permanent. Edwin is really nice if you know how to play him, you can easly drop a 13/13 on the board with stealth while also having a questing adventurer or mana addict that benefit from the same cards you used for edwin.
It has a confusing wording. When they first had it in the post before polishment it clearly stated gain 4 armor period gain 4 attack this turn. Now it is more mashed up. But if you look at it literarily if it meant 4 amor just this turn it would have read "give your hero +4 attack and +4 armor this turn." It woudn't state "this turn" before the "and".
Are_you: Blade fury destroys the weapon, but savagery does not remove attack.
But now that they changed blade fury to deal dmg to hero aswell, its the same. But before they did that, the druid could attack and the rogue could not.
The rogue hero power had its wording changed to reflect that the +1 damage to the weapon is for the turn it is used only. Unfortunately, it cannot be stacked =(.

Am I the only one finding this overpowered?

Let me change your mind
Yeah the amount of cards played is bigger, but it would be alot better if Savagery would remove the druids attack. So that it works like Blade fury.
Since rogue's weapons all has more than 1 durability, you can still attack once, then use Blade Fury to do damage 2 times.
You could also Deadly Posion x 2 > Hero power > atk once then blade fury (Total 6 mana). It can also do 12dmg to enemy hero.
I think Savagery don't hit the enemy hero which is the major different from Blade Fury.
