Thoughts? I think it's actually a very strong card - will almost guarantee you can drop it on turn 5 and your opponent will have no way to remove it the turn after... Not to mention disrupting certain deck types altogether, and acting as a way to protect other drops.
As a 5/5 for 5, it's stats are actually relatively relevant as well. Most legendary drops with decent effects in the 5/6 mana range have worse stats.
Yeah, Miracle's worst nightmare just happened. Especially since it can be played so earlier, right on the turn before Concealed Gadgetzan Auctioneer, or any time after.
Miracle Rogue may not like this against them on turn 6.
Agreed. It feels designed to screw them over, actually. I'd bet this is one of Blizzard's attempts to cause a serious shift in the meta, while creating cards that have functionality outside of changing what's viable.
I'm not so sceptical about this card, Miracle rogue apart, this card can bring tempo loss to the opponent, giving the fact he resolve much of his strategy around magic cards. But is pretty much useless vs aggro, and what is worse, can be used by aggro decks themselves! Giving them another turn of no-spell-to-wipe-my-board is insane.
Yeah this card is just made to screw over Miracle players, and I'm okay with that. Rather see a new card added to try to nerf a strong deck than see an actual nerf. Even in general it's a great generic card. Almost any deck could run this and as long as you aren't facing heavy aggro, the ability will almost always be useful. 5/5 for 5 is even better stats wise than Harrison making it more splashable than him, despite them both being cards that are strong against specific strategies. Little weird they'd show off Loatheb when the Arachnid Quarter is the first one released though.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?
Question that idk how it will work, if you were to play Millhouse Manastorm and then play this card both on turn 7 (6 with coin) do the spells now cost 5 because it was dropped after Millhouse (or be free if dropped before millhouse)?
It's a well designed card. Astute points made that it's intended to provide a counter to miracle rouge without actually changing the mechanics of miracle rogue. Now what I'm really excited to see is if they come up with something for zoo. No specific zoo minions need to be nerfed but maybe they can do something about that twisted Warlock card draw mechanic without hurting other warlock decks.
Figured I'd open a thread on this new card, as I haven't seen it posted yet.
Just posted on Facebook here.

I can see what Zeriyah meant when she said, "we'd prefer not to nerf every problem that arises in the meta".
A very effective counter to a couple of the more powerful current builds out there, like Miracle and Freeze Mage.
That is pretty strong. It's basically like a silence for your opponent. Turn 5 just got a lot more interesting!

Might buy you a turn against Freeze Mage, Priest or Shaman. Average card i´d say.
Healbot!! That sounds like a deadly card.... I like it!
Wow I sure love yeti-bumping!
This card is just bad for the game. +1 would have been more than enough to have the desired effect. The fact that it's huge is idiotic as well.
Control decks don't really exist as it is, this just makes any attempt to create them even more pointless than they already were.

Card is going to be nerfed. It's awful for the game. It's ridiculous overkill.
Pretty much my reaction.
love it hope we gett more off those cards deth to mirchel rouge

I think I'm in love! Seriously! This card is bomb!
I have merged the 3 threads on this topic.

Fudge-biscuits. Control Pallys also get derped - we can't use eq+conc/avenging TT
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
