There's some good points in this thread, but the obvious answer is Eater of Secrets. Remember the massive "AHAHA SECRET PALLY IS DEAD" hypetrain that started up when this card was announced? Know how little play this card is actually seeing at this point? I rest my case.

It is still a good card against Secret Pally in Wild mode. It flips the game basically. It is strong against Freeze/Tempo Mage and Hunter as well.
The reason why not many people run it is because people can careless about defeating Secret Pally nowadays, they want to explore other things in Wild mode.
I'd say the disappointment for me is Scaled Nightmare. Not because I thought it'd be overpowered or anything but because 1) I was hoping for a more defensive or tempo themed dragon with the expansion and 2) the card is bugged right now which means I can't even make a cool buff deck with it.

I would love if Deathwing, Dragonlord was better than he is. I have only been able to get succesfull use out of him in N'zoth/Dragon priest.
I had high hopes for him as well; but you rarely have that many dragons in hand when it dies to make much of a difference. And most of the best dragons have a Battlecry which of course don't trigger.
It definitely has to be The Boogeymonster. When I opened a golden version of it, I immediately received not one but two congrats: "Wow you just got the most worthless legendary!"
In a fit of rage I dusted it immediately without even admiring the animated artwork.
I disagree, I believe we all expected it to be a terrible card so it certainly hasn't disappointed.
I'm slightly disappointed with C'thun but mostly with Evolve
I'm not a Shaman player but Evolve would be the kind of card that would make me interested in the class. I haven't experimented a lot with Evolve yet, but seeing that it hasn't found its way into any decks says what you need to hear.
Other than that my predictions were somewhat close to reality. I'm slightly disappointed with the meta game too I guess. I was expecting more Old Gods in general and some more cool new archetypes (like Evolve Shaman or N'Zoth Rogue)
The only reason I'm sad about Princess Huhuran not seeing play is because she's really cute and has a really cool summon sound/animation.
I disagree. I run her in Midrange and she can curve beautifully with Infested Wolf most of the time, but if you draw her late with a Savannah Highmane on the board, the Battlecry is useful as well. Nonetheless, the 6/5 body is respectable for a 5 drop so it's sound to drop it on curve.
the new mage legendary, i don't know who he is, i don'0t even know what he or she does but that's enough to be sure trhat it isn't good nor interesting.

But you would still never play her over other 5 mana Beasts that can win you games that you're losing like StrangleThorn Tiger or Stampeding Kodo. Its not that its a bad card, it's just pretty mediocre especiallycompared to the other 5 Mana Beasts.
Embrace the shadows, but I have always wanted a combo priest deck to take off since flash heal, sadly this card did not make it good enough to really work. Maybe next expansion.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Personally I thought that Forbidden Shaping would be an auto-include in priest decks. I realized why it wasn't when I played it on turn 7 and got acidmaw...

Yeah, I got a little frustrated with that card because of all the battlecry minions I'd pull with it. Seems like the 8 mana range is the sweet spot though.
By disappointment I mean some card that was thought to be good or meta-defining and proved to be the contrary, not some card that was originally bad since the announcement. I think it would be a nice discussion. Maybe cards that are not actually bad but couldn't show its potential due to the meta or anything else.
I'd point the shaman legendary Hallazeal the Ascended. He was thought to be the revival of control shaman but the thing is, why play slowww control shaman when face and mid-range/evolve/totem shaman proved to be so much more efficient (tier 1 efficient)? (unless you love such kind of deck).
So, what were your biggest disappointments?
Hallazeal was one of the cards that surpassed my expectations. It HAS been the revival of control shaman. I made rank 5 with a control shaman deck and TidesofTime popularized another variation. If you were excited about it, you should really try a control shaman deck as they are absolutely amazing.
Just because of this thread I'm gonna try have some fun with Hallazeal Reno Shaman!

Most of the pally class cards we got turned out to be underwhelming aside from the legendary, and forbidden healing.
I wish Fandral Staghelm would have been everything I'd hoped it to be. As OK as he is, he's not as meta defining as I thought he was.

I got golden Hallazeal the Ascended from a pack and never played it since then. BibleThump
