It hasn't even been a week and already somebody's complaining about a card we knew was coming, and was given away for free!?! Last I checked I was 8-6 against C'Thun decks with my garbage f2p Palladin deck. No N'Zoth, no Tirion, just Wild Pyro/Equality and Syl. Get creative and start winning instead of whining.
Adapting and getting gud is 2 Hard, no one has time for that. Ranting on the forums only takes a minute though, and makes you feel like your opinion matters. So that's why.
But about what op said: have you ever seen a meta where everyone is fine with playing vanilla minions? Because thats what almost every c'thun minion is, as long as c'thun doesn't see play. Take advantage of it.
See, it took me ten seconds to figure out something that might help you against these "outrageously broken cards".
C'thun gets so hard-countered by aggro, zoo (and yes, zoo is not an aggro-deck) and patron, it's not beautiful. Nowaday many people play him, simply because it's quite cheap to build a c'thun deck. But It's far from strong.
Because Zoo is trading minions doesnt mean its not aggro!
But its not. It's tempo. All about dat board being controlled.
You could make an aggro zoo, though. Its actually very easy, but not that effective nowadays.
The thing is, apart from some class specific C'thun cards (Arakoa, Klaxxi whatsitsface), they are not that good. They all pass the vanilla stat check, Boulderfist Ogre style, but that's it. Which is okay, but only okay.
Outside of Druid the C'thun decks aren't really that great because of that, only one or two classes got class specific C'thun minions that are extremely powerful. The others are kind of meh and rely heavily on Twin Emps in order to not die before turn 10.
I think it's completely okay, Considering they made two different formats for us to choose from, Annnnd its not like its "op" or anything. C'Thun can kinda easily be removed.

Because they dont have this legendary , not because Leeroy Jenkins is not a good zoo card...anyway , still zoo is aggro , trading doesnt change that fact....Plus Doomguard that everyone is running
I am running neither and have both, zoo doesn't even need either. It's that strong. To be fair I am very low ranked at the moment because I have been playing a bunch of fun decks. Though I have seen plenty of streamers who run neither and have been destroying folks. The deck is a little insane. I am surprised I don't see more bitching about it.
Oh and on the point, I agree. Zoo is agro, it's not a face deck but it is most certainly aggro.
The same when mysteries challenger was present. Everyone was complaining how op it was (yes it was op), but it wasn't unbeatable. It took a while until people start to play around it. The same will happen to cthun.
Anyway, nzoth control healadin is very good at the moment
C'thun is where it needs to be in order to be playable, You build your deck around 1 legendary card and you expect it to be good, in 50% of the games you don't even draw it so if the supporting cards were bad then no one would play it.

That's such a BS argument. People playing competitively have all competitive cards.
Yep, they really do. C'Thun is the new cancer. I wonder if the devs playtested the whole thing or if they just called it a day after they created the cards... (irony)
But the worst joke of em all is probably the armor Warrior minion. 10 armor with a 6/6 body for 7??? Shieldmaiden was already borderline broken, but this? What were they thinking?
And there are not even any counter cards versus C'Thun's battlecry in standard, and in Wild there is only Nerubar Weblord in Wild I think...
The bigger issue is that even if C'thun and any other cards people feel are OP were removed the same people would be complaining about something else. There have been cards that were actually OP to the point they were in almost every deck, but standard and the nerfs to the base set helped fix a lot of that. That is why standard is such a good idea because any expansion cards you don't like will cycle out in a year from standard. Most of the issue is people not understanding how to improve. If I had to guess, only a small portion of the people upset have ever hit legend.

Of course.
We need not repel evil, we join the evil.
I crafted Golden Twin Emperor Vek'lor just for the endorsement of C'Thun

OP definately didn't preorder.

Just play midrange or aggro, Cthun decks cant handle them.
LUL
spectated a match where 20+/20+ c'thun was played with bronzebeard on board. gawd it took a long time resolve.

Dumb meta. Play c'thun or rush. BOOOORING.
Really poorly designed card. Just win games from getting in the top of your deck.
I played a dozen games of cthjn druid. Never faced patron but I can't see how those 3/3s would bother my stream of huge taunts. Can anyone explain?
