Playing around with Khadgar and a variant of a secrets Mage that I've never been successful with before - enjoying it, actually, since people don't play around Vaporize and Counterspell, but it's a very inconsistent deck. Added Yogg-Saron, Hope's End as a funny kind of last play for already lost games...
In one match against a rogue Yogg heals my opponent twice (once for 6, once for 8) and casts both a Pyroblast and a Fireball into my (heavily armored) face. In another match he uses Naturalize on himself, killing of my biggest threat and giving my empty-handed opponent a couple of cards to finish me off with (one of them was a charge minion). In another match against a mill rogue played him close to fatigue, he discards my entire hand Astral Communion style, and then DOOM!s me into a fatigue death.
My conclusion? He's a lose-more card who bears a grudge against me for some reason.... :)
Once had Yogg clear the board after killing himself and then cast Resurrect to bring himself back and win me the game. Was the first time he actually survived for me (even though eh still technically died lol). Another funny story is when he was my only chance at winning a game, he killed my opponent but then killed me with the next spell so the game considered it a draw.
Wish I had recorded some of the Yogg outcomes as it's very hard to remember exactly all that happened, but there was one game where I went from 1 HP to over 20 + refilling my hand and clearing enemy board, leaving only a buffed + stealthed Yogg alive...hahaha that was soooo hilarious, especially since I had already used Reno from 1 health earlier in that same game! My opponent (probably Shaman, don't remember) understandably conceded after that^^
Ofc there has been times where I've gotten completely screwed over in many different ways by Yogg, but I still haven't gotten Astral Communion'ed though, lucky me ;P
Some of the most hilarious times I've played him is when he casts like 20+ spells filling up board just to remove it and fill it back up again, then remove it, then heal you, then deal damage to you, heal you back up, deal damage to you, fill your board, remove your board and repeat^^

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
I was playing my yogg deck versus heroic arcaedas for giggles. It wasn't too far along when I was failing to draw into my board clears that I was in a yogg or die scenario. Yogg manages to cast poison seeds and excavated evil to clear the board. Bought me time to get my last few combo pieces for velen's burst.
I've also had an amazing encounter where I was playing against a renolock, it was late game and he'd Jarraxus'd. Lo and behold the guy gets sac pact to the face when I play yogg saron.
I've had a sylvanas steal my yogg and then proceed to mill my opponent into fatigue with two sprints and a nourish for cards.
Closest I've gotten to the triple pyroblast to the face dream is two. One for my face, another for my opponent. He then proceeds to wipe the board and cast tree of life for good measure. *facepalm*
I didn't even think about using him against adventure bosses. I feel like it would be absolutely hilarious and could make a super difficult matchup doable.
His board full with enough minions for lethal next turn. Yogg only card in my hand. I drop Yogg. Yogg precedes to use single target spells on all enemy minions, clearing the board. Mark of the wild on yogg. Heal my face. Shadowstep himself.
The board is now clear and I have a full hand.
Fast-forward...
My opponent regains board control. Has twin emps out and threatening lethal again. Yogg 2.0. Vanish is first spell played, returning yogg to my hand once again. Yogg draws the rest of my deck and gives me double fireball. That's all I needed for lethal.
The rogue I was playing did the only thing he could: "Wow".
This isn't a story of me playing Yogg, but him being played against me. It was a Druid, he had only played 4 spells. I was playing midrange Rogue and had 2 taunts from Defender of Argus (as well as 5 other minions on board). I have lethal on board next turn, and I figure, what's a Druid going to do about it? He can't combo me anymore and he can't clear the whole board. He plays Yogg. Yogg casts Deadly Shot, kills one of my taunts. Yogg casts Forgotten Torch, kills my other taunt. He casts Charge (on himself) and then some other useless spell I don't remember. Needless to say, I was already at low HP and this won him the game.
This is exactly why I hate Yogg. He had no business winning that game, but got ridiculously lucky and won because he played 1 card that could've literally done ANYTHING, but did that exact 3 card combination on the exact 3 targets to kill me.
I was salty at first, now I just laugh about it. Either way, I hate Yogg and will never play him--I'm sure he'd just Pyroblast my face a couple times.
Yogg just cleared the board. Dumped my hand via astral. Did 4 damage to my opponents face. Cast call of the wild. Cast charge on another minion. Gave me iceblock. Gave all my minions +1/+1, then drew me 4 cards 2 via raven idol.
I was at 20 hp and my opponent was at 8 hp but I gotta drop my yogg.
Me: Yogg Hunter (27 spells, 3 creatures) against C'Thun Warrior
the Yogg Hunter is a very reactive deck. He plays his C'Thun cards, I destroy them. This is going on for 9 turns. He plays C'thun, clears most of my board ( summoning stone). But he does not do a whole lot of damage. My turn 10, I play Yogg. Nothing to shocking, but Yogg plays 'gang up' on himself :) And he leaves me with a full hand (more spells !!!). The game continues. My opponent casts, and I destroy. He revives and cast C'Thun. And I play my second Yogg. Nothing really happens, and we both still have enough life. So, we continue. He casts, I ......(you get the idea). A couple of turns later ( a third Yogg was milled :( ) I draw my last card....the final Yogg. My opponent is at 1 health, and I'm at 1 health and 1 armor. I cast the Yogg. He starts casting the 30+ spells, and we are both still alive. Towards the end of the Yogg spells, I see that I have 6 live and 8 armor. I can almost here the victory trumpets, and then..... I have to draw some cards, that I don't have. The damage is enough to kill me.......
Anyone know the record for amount of spells cast by Yogg? I gotta be close :) I just got 46 spells him off with Bran Synergy, tried to upload image but haven't been able to upload anything the last few days

I believe Yogg is limited to only casting 30 spells at most, 60 if you have Brann in play. So, you know. There's your record.

Actually the limit is 40 spells, 80 with Brann ;P

This one time, in Hearthstone, I was winning, by like a lot, and I summoned Yogg-Saron and he cast a bunch of spells that were bad and I lost the game.
This one time, in Hearthstone, I was losing, by like a lot, and I summoned Yogg-Saron and he cast a bunch of spells that were good and I won the game.
I once had a 40-ish spell Yogg in my mage deck. He Sheeped one of my minions, then proceeded to charge, kings, and windfury it, giving me lethal. He did a bunch of other random stuff that didn't matter because of that. I was at 11 against a face shaman who had lethal. Felt SO GOOD. Sheep OP.
I have not tried to grind on ladder much for this month because of Yogg and C'thun Rogue. These two decks are fun and I don't particularly feel inclined to play against obviously unbalanced decks. Very fun. Some lucky SOB managed to freeze our game on ladder with yogg though i would have won the very next turn. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. Reminded me of the time i lost to Hobgoblin+ooze because of glitch.
I just had a game today where I very nearly won. Yogg cast Charge on himself himself, double Everyfin is Awesome fired off an Avenging Wrath... just had the opponent on 2 and they had just enough to kill me.
So in college Yogg and I shared a house off campus with a few other guys. Suffice to say there were more than a few parties had in that house. Well one weekend I decide to go back home visit my family. When I get back to school on Sunday morning the house is trashed with beer bottles everywhere, which is hardly surprising. What is surprising however is that when I get to my room Yogg is there passed out and naked as the day he was born with some random girl who is also naked and passed out. The two of them are kind draped in an American Flag my other buddy had hanging in his room and my sheets are on the floor covered in blueberry syrup. Man, that Yogg was such a crazy bastard.
*** The names in this story may have been changed to protect the innocent . . . . and Vince. Vince you prick those were really nice sheets and I was never able to get those stains out.
I was playing with my Tempo Mage against a Rogue... the game was already won, I had Antonidas and two other minions on board and enough Fireballs in my hand to face kill him in the next turn, also he had no minions and I was around 20 lives (I can't remember).
So the guy summons Yogg-Saron, who cleans my board, sets his weapon to 7 attack and turns the f@#*!ng Old God into a 24/5 with Charge.
And that is how my best winrate was buried under salt.
I had 24 health, they had 3. I had damage on board to win (and in hand if I preferred) but I wanted to Yogg and thought I'd be fine. I had 8 cards left to draw ...
First spell (8 total creatures on board) was DOOM!. I draw my cards.
Then I drew 2 more, then 2 more, then 1 more, then I drew enough that I died! It was the best game ever even though I fatigued myself to death.
Tempo Mage facing Zoo. Out of Flamestrikes and such. Health is running low (less than 10) and Warlock has a nice juicy board. Also have a 5/5 Summoner. Last ditch Yogg Saron. He clears the board with excavated evil, summons me some minions, and doesn't kill the faceless summoner or himself. 10/10 would stick Yogg in every deck.

The moment all hope is lost, yogg clears the board and summons so much for you and you somehow win :).
Or when he vanishes the board and you end up playing him twice or 3 times in some cases :)
