Well, the effect is obviously different, but it's not necessarily better. For cards like Wrath, Raven Idol, Power of the Wild etc. it's clearly better than a brann effect. However for minions it's not. For say Druid of the Claw I would even say that it's slightly worse than what you'd expect from a double battlecry on a 5 mana minion. If it's better than brann, then I would say it's only slightly so. Of course I could also be wrong, but it's my evaluation of the card.
In a token deck I would imagine that this will be pretty good though.

How does Brann affect Druid of the claw? "Choose one" effects do not count as battlecries.

It doesn't and I haven't stated that it does. I'm comparing brann to fandral staghelm in terms of power. The effect fandral has on druid of the claw is slightly worse than what you'd expect in a similar situation with brann on a 5 mana minion. In short, the fandral effect is clearly better on spells and on par, or worse, than brann on minions.
Edit: I'm also not saying that brann affects spells, I'm just saying that using spells with fandral clearly is a more powerful effect than a double battlecry since you get double the value of the card you're playing while that could never be the case with a minon.
Some people is assuming that every choose one minion is going to be abussed with this legendary. The truth is that most of then can't be played in the same turn and when you skip turn the chance to be killed by the opponent is too damn high lol.

Ah, okay. There I can agree, although I see it mostly on par with brann. Simply because it enables options you can't get with brann and are therefore not really comparable. A 4/6 Charge for example might end easily end up as a 4/2 after trading, but costs only 5 mana (in comparison to Argent Commander ). And a 10/10 taunt is crazy if you think that a 8/8 taunt costs 8 (although I don't think you will be able to Play an AoW very often with Fandral still on board). But in any case, the spell synergy is crazy with Fandral. Even Starfall , Nourish and Mark of Nature could suddenly become really competetive spells.
this card is a bit nuts. druid's 4 drop is always a bit nuts. unlike prenerf keeper though, this guy is a must kill immediately and unlike savage combatant, this guy is actually slightly harder to kill.....
4 for a3/5 that turns your fifth turn into a one side battle is pretty devastating. it might actually make starfall more playable due to its swipe potential with this card..... i m gonna be more realistic, there's no way we will see a 10/10 with taunt in play. this guy is a walking target because for your opponent, letting this liveis just plan catastrophe.....
and this guy is made more dangerous since the class it is for can drop it a turn or two earlier than most other classes with powerful 4 drops....

That's still not how it works. No one runs Bomb Lobber because Brann makes it competitive. You run cards that you already would play without Brann. Same with Fandral, running cards like Starfall is just bad.
You probably don't save this for some super combo. You play it on curve if you are leading tempo and force them to answer with a spell or lose. Either that or you play it later with one cheaper battlecry. Something like this plus Wrath.
So Staghelm with Ancient of Lore gives you about 15% additional mana value. Staghelm with Raven Idol, Wrath, Living Roots, Nourish, Starfall, Dark Whispers, Whispers of the old Gods, Feral Roar etc gives you 100% additional mana value.
Lore is never getting played again, so that doesn't really matter.
he actually made that card, and blizz stole his idea!! Wtf
"Stole" it? You're saying that he has copyright on either WoW, hearthstone, or both? Outside of that, I can't see how it possibly could be considered "stealing".
I think this one is overrated. Good luck playing it on turn 10, too late..
Turn 10, play this and idol, discover a big minion and a spell, with the spell gain 4 attack remove a opponent minion and gain 8 armor.
Too late? Really?
Maybe you say this is the best case scenario, if the case you wrong, the best scenario is idol as a option from spell with make a 3 card advantage in your choice between 3 option each.
This card is meta-defining, all druid in standard will run this card, maybe in wild.
Every expansion I craft a golden version of the card that I think will be my favourite in the set; Sludge Belcher, Emperor, etc. As it turns out, I'm lucky enough that they tend to be the super meta-relevant ones eventually.
Pretty sure this is my choice for Whispers. Even if you only land a cheap spell with it it's guaranteed some value and if it can't be removed instantly it can be fairly insane. Was worried about Druid given the nerfs but between this and the likes of Mire Keeper I'm pretty excited.
OP don't is because don't play alone with absurd valor, you need combinations and in most games the opponent have the chance to answer before you make a huge impact.
OP is MC, Dr.7 and Shredder, cards should never to be printed or a least received a nerf soon enough.

even if you get 1 benefit it chages the game.....best class legendry of expansion
Brann is great so I don't see why this wouldn't be.
You are not prepared!

Time is money, friend.
It was confirmed that minions like Druid of the Flame would get a 3rd form from this effect. Which means new art.

Not bad ... For rooted + uproot is so ... expensive :)
Very Good - But Meta defining ... I don't think so :)
