Does it gain +1/+1 for extra mana spent or just mana used to cast the card? The way it reads it feels like 1 mana 2/2, 2 mana 3/3, so on and so forth. But, I could be wrong.
It seems to be a X mana X/X, not X mana X+1/X+1 because you have to spend one mana before it's battlecry activates. So basically this card will always be slightly understated for it's cost (vanilla stats are generally x/x+1 for x mana), but the upside is that - like all forbidden cards - you will always be able to curve out with this minion at any point in the game.
Is it though?? Wouldn't it be a 1/1, you "spend all your mana" after playing it to get the +1/+1 triggers, if you spend your 1 mana and have 0 to spend after, why would it be a 2/2?
You want to make the most of all your mana as a druid, and even though it's a vanilla minion, it's versatility makes it very solid. It should see play.

I´m pretty sure it doesn´t work that way. You pay the mana to play the card, then the battlecry gets activated.
So you play for 1, then the battlecry checks for your full crystals, you have none, so it doesn´t get a buff.
That's my understanding as well. Essentially, if you take the cost and base stats into consideration, it will end up being an X/X for X mana (however much mana you have when the card is played is what its attack and health will be).
Probably worse than Forbidden Shaping in most cases, but I'm actually one of the few people that thinks forbidden shaping might actually be good. The question is really how powerful is it to always have a minion that is on curve. Granted, it is on curve slightly weaker than any other number of minions you can point to, but if it weren't it would be extremely OP.
I do think this card is pretty weak to play on the first few turns though, which doesn't really make it work all that well for that purpose. It's probably a pretty good pick in arena, but it's epic so we won't see it that often.
One question, does innervating into this actually do anything? I think it probably would, but since innervate has to be cast first, you'd still only max out with a 10/10.
all of you who keep saying it won't see play because it has vanilla stats are completly missing the point or underestimate it's true strength: it's versatility. You can play it anytime you want and it scales. Got your hands full of big minions and no early game because unlucky draw but got this card? early forbidden board presence to the rescue! Got this in your hand but also a great starting hand and luckily curving perfectly with better cards for the first 5-6 turns? great drop this when you ran out of good cards during late game! it's like a board presence insurance when things don't go as planned.

See, I assumed it was that way becasue otherwise its super super strong. But, I still think its a really solid card and a card I've been wanting for a while. Reminds me of some MTG cards.

This plus Innervate should be good early game. This plus two Innervate should be rude.
I suggested a 0-mana 0-1 with the same effect. Would have been quite a lot better...
Still ok though, always on curve, no other minion can say that!

this is a really balanced card IMO

The card seems good, but with the druid nerfs. I think the evaluation might be moot.
