This is the card C'Thun decks desperately needed to be viable. A lot of synergy cards require 10 attack, and they really needed more than C'Thun's Chosen for a +2/+2 to C'thun. Twilight Elder will probably also be played still, but only giving +1/+1 is a big deal.
This is meta-defining, but not because it's super strong.
What the? Why would they nerf Keeper of the Grove so hard if they made this? For the 2 damage, this is much better. For the silence, Spellbreaker is much better. I don't think the versatility of Keeper quite makes up for the terrible body.
What the fuck is this? Why even play SI:7 Agent when there's a neutral minion that does its job without having to Combo AND buffs your C'Thun?
Blizzard actually hates Rogue.
Because SI:7 Agent is a 3/3, which can be hard to remove in early game. This guy dies to hero powers. The far more reasonable comparison is to Argent Horserider IMO. And yeah, Argent Horserider is really good, and this is really good too.
I can see this card being played in midrange decks across the board, C'Thun or not.
I don't it will replace Argent Horserider for face decks, simply because Horserider takes two hits to die. Better board contest while still going face.
I was originally very excited for the Arena applications of this card but then I remembered C'thun cards won't be available there. With my luck it would probably be used on me more than anything anyway. :|
Even so, it's good tempo by itself, but considering it buffs for 2/2 as well - this is a guaranteed 2-of for all C'thun decks. I wouldn't be surprised if aggro decks just play it for the 2 damage ping alone though. IMO it's better than Argent Horserider because of the ability to ignore Taunt minions.
I may be going out on a very unstable limb here, but could this card enable a sort-of "Aggro C'thun" deck? Imagine attempting to buff C'thun while simultaneously going face as much as possible before turn 10 and then drop C'thun. Their board would probably be full of minions if you're just going face - but it would still be really good to possibly clear their board. It feels like a silly idea that might only work 10% of the time, but perhaps a niche few will try it. Tell me what you think!

This is actually another Argent Horserider for aggro/face decks.
Amazing card even without being in a C'thun deck. Two damage ping is nuts and allows you to play this in response to most turn two minions.
job's done.
