Way better 1 mana cost removals? What are you talking about? Also, Execute needs another card to kill something too, and it's the most close comparison I can think of.

Hunters mark needs something else to kill it too i.e. damage being done to a target.
Wow a card that many hunter decks don't run at all was nerfed. This is a crappy uncalled for nerf. It has no comparison to execute by the way, Warriors always have whirlwinds and weapons, inner rages tons of ways to deal that damage without a board. Hunter has none, unless it has its eaglehorn bow.
this should't be nerfeed, now is equal to Execute but without warrior style of cards is not that good, Brawl and Shield Slam needed more nerf than this
Why?
Shield slam is one mana but requires armor to be build up. Facing aggro deck it's not always the case, need to be played with shieldmaiden, shieldblock.. So not a problem to be at 1 mana, because it doesn't have an immediate effect 100% of the time
And brawl.. Well, i guess you don't like warriors, first time i hear someone wanting to nerf Brawl :D
Nothing in common with the topic, it's a 5 mana card multi target removal. i can understand you compare shield slam to hunter's mark, but not brawl
i only name brawl because it needed more nerf than this, and i dont like because, let one of your minions alive should not be an option, it should kill everything but your oponent strongest minion, and except against face decks shield slam can make with easy 4 damage without other cards help in the same turn, but what really is unfair is that warrior can destroy 4 big minions per game paying only 1 mana for each, and it also have brawl i hate control warrior and face hunters because both deck play to not let play

I don't really understand how you can say face hunter and control warriors are the same, but i guess i do agree on the "board control" aspect, and blizzard agrees too, seeing how they nerf charge card one after another. Still work to do, though
To be back to control warriors, well, it's an interesting opinion. I don't really agree, but one thing is sure, not all classes are equal when it comes to removal. And that doesn't seem to bother Blizzard, seeing how they removed blade flurry, rogue's only mass removal :D
Maybe you're right, and maybe cards that destroy all board are not well balanced, but they do exist. Hell, warlock will have 2 full clear now (8 and 10 mana, all right, but still, i will LOVE my reno lock :D ) and still a bunch of AOE.
So yeah, Warriors are a heavy removal class, epecially when it comes to big creatures but i don't think it's "unfair". if you have trouble with warriors, try some midrange decks, which are the best counters. I think i'll play a lot more of midrange paladin soon
i have not answer until now, because last 2 days have been crazy in hearthpwn, xD i find boardclears unfair, but specially in warrior, with every set give warrior more and more armor, warrior push to, or try to make me do more damage playing more minions, or play the long game with the rules of the warrior, or smorc, brawl punish the only fun option and a lot of nice plays that let you with a big badass board, and because it cost only 5 you can also play a taunt, or removal, or a nice 5 drop minion, and the only moment the rng in brawl punish you is when you whant to destroy an specific minion, and that is not even the role of brawl,that is a versatility one get from an already good card, well i also find Equality and Lightbomb op, atleast warlock boardclears don't let you clear the oponentboard and play your own board that easy, (now the ShadowflameMolten Giant combo is not that easy). i find face hunter and control warrior 2 face of the same coin, one always go face, and one never go face, i think the game is more fun when sometime the face is the best move and sometimes no, okay control warrior go face when your board is clear or when they have lethal, but that dosn't count. english, is not my native and this text was really hard for my english level, so i will thank any coreection you may have, i hope is understandable ¿did a make some wods?
Control hunter wont care for a 1 mana increase but it did very much help stay on curve and keeping tempo. It will also disrupt hunters from downing large threats (which this expansion is all about) too efficiently and that is likely its sole reason for being nerfed. At least they didn't butcher it somehow... Amen.

As someone who enjoys hunter, the nerf is annoying. But, not card killing. The majority of the targets you will want to hit come at 4 mana+
This will mostly prevent argent horserider>>>kill whatever play on turn 3 or similar actions.
Why wasn't this card initially 1 mana. Wouldn't even call this a nerf tbh, just balancing
