Are you not ENTERTAINED, rogue fans? I'm sure the awesome cards rogue received with gods expansion will more than make up for loss of oil and "minor" adjustment to Blade Flurry.
Very disappointed that they didn't introduce any cards that would justify the Flurry nerf. At least TRY to make it look like you're not fucking Rogue over just for the hell of it. Aside from that, this was a typical "Rogue" expansion. No crazy (or even mildly) great cards (from the looks of it--but the Squidface guy looks promising). Kinda disappointed but also a little hopeful.
Paladin/Mage #2 in arena, and probably still top 3 in constructed.
FeelsFairBlizz?
#9 in constructed is definitely Hunter.
Even with all the new cards? I guess we'll see. Just weird they gut blade flurry and replace with... more control tools?
Not saying I don't like the new rogue cards; Xaril seems cool, Shadowcaster will be fun, and the C'thun epic is nice (albeit slow); but maybe we're missing something that will become more apparent as all the new decks and cards are played out.

who knows, I'm no expert
More control won't work if Valeera gets a K.O. in turn 7 and now have no reliable AOE (not that Blade Flurry was especially reliable in control anyway), Only left choice is raptor and we all know it is tier 3 at the veeery best.
I think the mana nerf on BF is a indirect nerf to Preparation. Prep is a hard card to balance kinda like innervate b/c they make the cards around them better, hence nerfing those cards in mana terms is the only other rtealistic way to weaken it affects. Furthermore, based on how they expect the meta to develop BF would have shat on most decks. I hate the nerf but I think we might be over reacting, there isn't a reason to take it out of the deck, it is still a great removal with spell powers and deadly poisons, etc. If rogues were willing to play sprint and prep it out then i don't see why this won't work either, it just means that they can't use too many expensive spells anymore. With prep i think this will still be played. At the very least I hope people can try and give it a shot instead of listening to "pro" players or what other people are saying and simply dismissing this card without a fair trial. The nerf sucks but lets not give up all hope on rogue just yet.
Given the nerf, and that they've apparently revealed all the cards, it's a particular shame that they didn't introduce any new Rogue weapons in the expansion. Sure, it's nice to see a 4/4 for 4 with a 2-damage weapon buff as a Deathrattle. But they really should have released a weapon which made folks glad Blade Flurry was nerfed.
Well, there's always mill rogue if the meta really does slow down. Agro was really the big hurdle for mill, which I realize agro will always find a way, but Mill picked up some OK options in WOG
I'm STILL seething over this. You can't just nerf a card because "it limits your design space" then continue to make shitty cards that wouldn't interact with said nerfed card at all. Blizzard really fucked this one up, worse than Warsong, hell even worse than Starving Buzzard. I know the majority of us care about Standard, but now Oil Rogue is totally dead in Wild. The miracle archetype took a giant hit as well, I get that they've been trying to push a different kind of Rogue deck since, well, forever--but this is the stupidest nerf they've ever made. Even my friend who DESPISES Rogue agrees that this was too much, I can't believe how some people think this is justified at all. Not only did we lose our best (only) effective AoE, but also one of our best forms of burst (which isn't near as relevant without Oil). Why does Blizzard always fuck Rogue over? It's also gross what they did to Druid, but they had a top-tier deck for ages. Still, I wish Blizzard would learn that when they nerf a card, they don't need to make it totally unplayable. I don't know how long it'll take me to forget this. Maybe if Rogue actually finds a spot in the meta, I'll stop being so pissed, but I'm worried Rogue is just going to fade away (or turn into the next Zoo class, which would fucking suck).

Without Deathlord, Blade Flurry, and Antique Healbot, Mill loses too many of its tools to actually work. Blizzard even killed an archetype which was already dead.

Because they want you to actually play the game instead of doing OP LOL combos in 1 turn. I can get behind this.

Once again, a player who's likely never even played Rogue and has no idea what they're talking about tries to claim it's OP. Would you prefer every class be like secret Paladin? Play on curve and win because you drew better than your opponent? "Actually play the game," once again, have you ever even watched a Rogue play? We have to work hard to survive to get to our "OP combos" off in the first place (which is often extremely difficult) and meticulously plan out how we'll actually win while simultaneously surviving. Final thing: If Rogue was so OP, why the hell wasn't it the most played class in the meta? It's one of the lowest represented classes--because it's hard to play and has gotten little to no cards in expansions, compared to other classes. Not to mention the power level of its cards are laughable compared to other classes. It always makes me laugh when people call a hardly-played deck "OP" because it's literally the most direct way you could possibly contradict yourself. Look at the actual "OP" decks, combo Druid and secret Paladin. The meta is infested with them, and has been for half a year. Rogue has struggled since Naxx.
I'd type out another full paragraph but I've already bitched out a guy for comparing it to combo Druid, if you really want to see why you're entirely wrong you can check my posts. If not, however, you can just stop acting like you know what you're talking about.

I have played hundred and hundreds of games as Rogue and the Blade Flurry was way to efficient for what it did the fact it hit the hero as well made it broken. I think this could have been 3 mana instead of 4 but regardless i won't have any tears besides Shaman which won this expansion Rogue is a close 2nd they finished a lot better then many other classes. Also i hold a 73.30% win rate in Arena that puts me in the top 1% of players pretty sure i know more then you.

We're talking about constructed here, not that Blade Flurry is even close to as relevant in arena (it's a rare and requires weapon buffs).
Also, I didn't mean to insult your intelligence, I was just saying I likely know more about Rogue in constructed than you. Yes, Rogue is still great in arena (because Blizzard doesn't care about arena balance, apparently). Also, for the record, I have a ~6.7 win average in arena so it's not like I'm incompetent in that regard.
Bottom line, I didn't mean to be so pissy with you, I'm just tired of Blizzard screwing Rogue over. It's possible we'll find a new great deck with some of the cool tools we got, but my main issue is they took away the very essence of Rogue, the miracle archetype is going to struggle a lot, if it doesn't cease to exist.
All classes will go through different phases i don't think the hit will be as bad since the meta will be slowing way down. Blade Flurry can still be a effective board clear since getting a decent weapon is easy even that new Pirate will get it to 3 attack. I think comboing will be back in big way tho..Token Rogue could be a thing as well. I think the change is good we have all seen the same old shit for a long ass time it's getting old, good chance in next expansion Rogue will have more Miracle utility.

How is " Blade Flurry was way to efficient"? To even get the decent board removal you need at least 2-3 cards for it and 5 mana, dagger, poisoned blade+ prep + flurry. To get strong clear removal, you need 3-4 cards and 9 mana, dagger, poisoned, preparation(maybe), oil, flurry. The strong board only deals 12 damage without any creature( that is even if we can hit face). 3-4 cards to deal 12 damages. How is that OP? The other class only need like 2 cards to deal that much damage.
Where are all the " waint untill you see all the card they could have AOE Rogues gonna get better weapon" morons now??
R.I.P. Rogues, no more burst, and definitely no control without sustain.

Yeah the Blade Flurry nerf was extreme overkill this could have been 3 Mana easy and then cards like Knife Juggler didn't get nerfed enough.
