Keeper of the Grove is a strong and versatile minion that combines Silence with solid stats, which made the decision to include it in every Druid deck virtually automatic. Whether or not to introduce a source of Silence to a deck should require some decision making, so Keeper of the Grove shouldn’t be a default choice for all Druid decks. Its stats have been changed from 2/4 to 2/2.
Quite a big nerf if you ask me, comparing to neutrals like Spellbreaker or Ironforge Rifleman. Honestly, it's not the body that was the 'problem', it's the versatility. This nerf doesn't take it out of druid decks (mostly), but just nerfs the entire druid class. But it is definitely the most balanced and best nerf, because you can't nerf a choose one effect that easily, which is the sad truth.
I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
I speculate that people will think this nerf makes it a bad card. These people are dead wrong. This card, with this nerf, is still OP as heck, its effect is just too strong...

when your using your battle cry as deal 2 damage its just a worse storm pike commando this nerf really rekts the card
Being -2/-3 off of a 4 drop body is bad. I understand they want to value Silence more, but at present they're costing the choice between a Holy Smite and a Silence at 2/3 worth of stats, which is 2 mana. That seems really harsh, considering this is a class card, which should be slightly above the average power level.
This is the only nerf I have a problem with, seems like overkill considering it's like paying 1 more mana for ironforge rifleman with +1 damage or 1 more for Owl with +1 health. Class cards should be stronger than neutrals so making it a 2/3 would have been far more fair but they never seem OK with subtle nerfs, always decide to just kill the card entirely.
i think that's hard to evaluate the nerf because the keeper was actually very flexible and also pretty good against aggro, expecially zoo when you can potentially kill three 3/2 bodies, for example 2xFlame Imp and a Knife Juggler. Now we don't know how aggro decks will be, but i think that 2/2 it's probably too much, 3/2 at least can let you clear something like the Tunnel Trogg
2/3 would've been fine, but still killer. I never thought this card needed a huge nerf, I just thought it was good druid control to make it to the lategame, like druids want, while providing a good body to deal with smaller minions. It might not be that bad in ramp druid, because you can still play this on turn three to take out a knife juggler or something and have a body on board, but really sucks toward the later game
They fucked up on this nerf so bad. Druid will be damn near unplayable in Arena now as well. Keeper of the Grove is basically on par with Stormpike Commando now it's just awful. Should have been 2/3 or text change.

Keeper of the Grove is receiving a nerf!
I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
Hilarious looking nerf, but still quite powerful imo.
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
Its comparable in power the 3 cost owl now.

maybe you keep one of those now..
Heck, 2/3 would have been a good nerf but this is too much.
I am pretty sure they are valuing Silence on Keeper and Ironbeak at 2 mana now.
no one's going to play it anymore ? what an awful nerf... from good card to unplayable...
pay no heed to silence... because face is the place !!
S U P E R !!
I did not expect this change at all. I'm not a fan of druids, but I don't like this nerf that much.
Whoever designed Jade Idol and thought it was a good and healthy card for the game has clearly never played HS.
THIS NERF COMPLETELY RUINED THE CARD WTF
Its a fine nerf. The effect is still very solid and the stats were too good for it.
Not that bad of a nerf since the effect was the problem not the body.
This is - sorry, was - the 4 mana removal that wasn't Swipe. I'm not sure this is needed

I think 2/3 would of been a lot better.
