Ogre Brute smart! Ogre Brute no give mana to enemy! But jokes aside, this card will not be missed. and for combo, 3 damage from wolfrider is just as good.
What? It makes an OTK not work anymore without an additional card. How is that "will not be missed", and how is 3 damage just as good if it doesn't cause the OTK.
Not liking this nerf, I think they took it too far. Worth noting is that Yeti is a 4/5 for 4, and since this card gives a mana crystal to your opponent it may as well effectively cost 4 by itself, at the bare minimum.
Would have been playable if it gave your opponent a mana crystal for a turn (as if they played Coin), instead of a permanent crystal.
Ogre Brute would always be a better option in tempo play, Dancing Swords is a better option for a mill deck, while this is a good option for playing at turn 9/10 where it has no drawback. Why should you include it in your deck then? - Still for no reason, but if ever you happen to get it out of other card (e.g. Jeweled Scarab) you would probably choose it ahead of the other two.
I'm not sure if Faceless Summoner would prefer a 4/4 or a 4/2 with charge, I guess it depends on the situation/matchup/board situation.
Anyway, after losing countless times to Arcane Golem PO PO PO PO PO PO PO PO PO PO PO Faceless Manipulator PO PO PO PO I'm pretty happy about this nerf, even though people people will go back to Leeroy.
no one will play this card EVER in this state ! it was broken OP, yes, too much damage that could not be avoided, the mana crystal for the enemy was often irrelevant as the golem was a well faced finisher.
it should be a 4/5 Body with the "mana crystal for the enemy"-drawback to have an "early chillwind yeti" (with the possibility for the enemy to play a similar strong minion on his turn) - would be the best fitting solution for a rare card in my opinion, without giving either player a huge advantage...
Well, they nerfed it to the point where they never would have put it in the game in the first place. So weird.
Warsong commander and buzzard got a bud there. And no - I havent even run it in face hunter, cause at the time I got it from booster I already had 2-1 charge with divine shield (which is actually ridiculous in aggro). Well, gj making another unplayable card Blizz. Soon we will have a whole ultimate collection of shit. They probably should move all those cards in separate set and sell it for real money to masochists ppl. Lel.
While I like aggro having lost much of its mindlessness, meta was already going to slow considerably with WOG, and a charge-less Golem is completely useless. It removes the whole point. of the card.
Stats increase is pointless given that it still has one of the major drawbacks of the game: giving one permanent mana to your opponent might kill your game, if you are not making a lethal move at the same time, which you aren't anymore with lost charge.
The only positive note is that Leeroy Jenkins just became more relevant as finisher...
it's more a nerf to combo decks than aggro decks. aggro decks can simply play wolfrider or argent horserider. clearly blizzard loves brain dead decks and hates combo decks.

Dancing Swords and Ogre Brute never saw play, so this will not see play.
Now I understand why Leeroy is legendary, he's unique now

1 attack, 0.5 mana over curve.
Gives your opponent 1 mana crystal for the next 6 turns.
Blizzard.
Please, just stop.
Overload 1 would be fine.
Giving your opponent a coin. Sure.
One mana crystal for every turn forward..?
What is this card now..?
Sure. Charge may have needed to go. But...
WHY not 2 mana for this when your opponent gets an additional mana crystal to answer -- for every one of his turns until he hits 10 mana?
Seriously.
Leeeeeeroy jenkins!!

Soooo damn good. No more face hunters :)

Well the nerf is fine... But as long as WolfRider and Leeroy exists it does not change OTK decks capacity whatsoever...
The only thing it did it slightly affected agro Hunter/Paladin which was not the problem as it was not OTK decks in first place.
So i guess.. its OKish.
Let's be true to ourselves, the Nerf gun hit this minion quite badly.

It's weird that they touch this minion without looking at the other chargers
Wolfrider and Argent Horserider
It's unplayable now and I'm fine with it. Tired of watching face decks rush me with this ridiculously cheap charge minion.
I would love it if they kept the cards usable after a nerf, rather than making them unplayable.
