Why this over Savage Roar??? I guarantee we will see new ways to abuse Savage Roar, iE using cheap chargers.
No you won't. Maybe you miss the fact that force of nature was giving you 3 minions at once. Good luck playing 3 minions with charge for 6 mana in the same turn and then savage roar. If if were even possible you would need 4 cards instead of two.
Im just sick from all druid changes. Instead of nerfing face decks , which are really wrong and ppl don't have to think when they are playing them, they nerf Druid deck, which was interesting and against aggro decks anyway very hard to play.
Combo druids was a T1/T2 deck for quite a long, it had to be done because it was really unfun to play against combo druids (like 90% of the time vs Druids) you were struggling to keep control of the board which is really hard against a druid and if you didn't succeed on the first 2-3 turns you were dead.
This was the right change to nerf druid, the lore and keeper nerfs are just ridiculous. The ramp class has been smashed too much imho until it's too slow/ineficient to stay competitive agains agro or control. Now keeper just trades 1 agro minion (2 as much with "battlecry") for 4 mana lol, and a turn 7 like play 5/5 body draw a card, LOL: its 2 mana less that azure, no spell power and just +1/+1, ridiculous.
This is the best thing that happened to Hearthstone since it was released. We dont even need the WOG. This alone makes the game much more enjoyable. Long needed.
Turning a class epic into the equivalent of a common neutral? Screw up. Big time. In fact, I think Silverhand Knight is better in most situations.
The new FoN should have been a Choose One: Summon three 2/2 treants, or deal 2 damage to three random enemies.
This make it balanced (better than SHK because of the Choose One, which is a Fireball/Arcane Missiles combo) for a class epic. As it is, it is nothing but dust. Pure garbage.
Oh, and before you ask, such a spell could handle spell damage by giving you half an extra charge per spell damage (3-4 enemies at +1, 4 enemies at +2, etc).
Not all epics are great cards...but in general they are at least interesting and have unique effects if they are not. The new FoN is not only vanilla, but crappy vanilla. That's a spit in the face of the very concept of "Epic".
Still playable, but kinda awkward. Glad we didn't have another Warsong Commander-tier nerf, I'm a druid player and wouldn't like ridiculous stuff like that.

Except except Savage Roar is 3 mana. I'd love a 3 mana bloodlust, or even 4 with the +1 but without the hero dmg.
A 3 mana card, and a 5 mana card, don't have the same... Versatility? I don't know, but bloodlust loses viability at 5 mana. There's a reason combo Druid was constantly tier 1, sometimes dipping into tier 2, while bloodlust shaman decks are usually tier 4, sometimes tipping their fingers at tier 3. There's plenty of reasons actually, but Savage Roar vs Bloodlust, was definitely one of them.

Blizzard keeps on changing the rules, nerfing cards and make us pay more money. An we will, we will obey. Because this is what we want :)
I mean the card is completely different now. And Wisps of the Old Gods looks even worse now.

I hated playing against combo and I have extra copies of this card that I have been saving. I will be getting a lot of dust from the nerfs.
