Idk it's fair in itself but the amount of nerfs rogue as received in the history of the game just makes me hate when anything rogue is nerfed lol and I don't even enjoy playing the class

They're not altering this card because it was overplayed or too strong in its current meta, but that it simply limited a lot of possible design. This was simply a type of card that would fluctuate based on what is released each expansion. There were several cards altered for the same reason like Warsong Commander
I recall seeing a streamer playing mage get this card and Mal'Ganis from unstable portals and was invulnerable for the rest of the game against his opponents (at the end) full board.
I'd have preferred it to become 4/5 or perhaps have Stealth itself in addition to the Battlecry.
Still, job done.
I understand the nerf.
Why not balance out the stats at the same time?
It seems to me as Rogues always have minions with the lowest stats when compared to other classes, without it being justified.

Such a lazy nerf. Needed to be made 4/5 or "all your minions have stealth until next turn, essentially folding Conceal into the card. Neither would have been OP nor cramp design space.
