For all you guys comparing this to Azure Drake, seriously, you purposely forgot that it has a choose one option, which itself is around 1 mana . Well done Blizzard ,well done .
Do you realise Azure Drake has also spell damage +1, is a dragon, and is a neutral card?
Go for Azure then and lose your aggro matchups like everyone else instead of having the versatility to heal with LoA
7 mana heal 5 is pitifully slow and now that you're not holding off for combo, going to little to stem the building. Card is trash.
Now it looks like a card aimed to heal, and when not needed to cycle itself. More like: guess what? i'll heal back my Druid of the Claw or my Dark Arakkoa instead of drawing. A full new card almost.

Yeah, the option to restore 5 health is usually not very good and too slow, many times it does almost nothing to save you from aggro.
I think it's still a good card that way. Finally it's not broken good. I support this way of nerfing this card.
You're joking right? For two less mana you get the same card draw AND +1 spell power from Azure Drake. Sure it's a 4/4 body instead of 5/5 but that matters very little when the cost is 7 mana versus 5. This is way over nerfed.
Somehow 5/5 for seven to draw one card when you have a 5 mana card that does the same thing isn't good value. Class cards are supposed to be stronger than non-class ones. This is what we live with but they could've raised the cost by 1 without affecting its effect
I don't think this will keep seeing play. It's true that both options are about equal now, but as a 5/5 minion, I don't realy want to pay 2.5 mana for the choice between either of them.
EDIT: Wait, this heals minions too. Nevermind, ramp druid may still play this. I guess it's fine.
This nerf is awful. Heal option was always not so cool (with heal option it's like 6 mana effect, not 7), and making it draw 1 card also makes it worth not more than 6 mana.
Easy 400 dust each for now, and I doubt this will see play anymore.
Lore was fine. Blizzard only nerfed it because combo Druid was so good. Druid lost 2 of it's main cards, Lore and Keeper (that were already balanced), from these nerfs, I'm really fucking pissed about most of Blizzard's changes.
Keeper balanced thats funny, its stats are insane for what it does. It needed a health nerf. Maybe not 2 health but it needed it

If anything they should have just messed with his stats a bit. make him a 4/5 if they needed to nerf something.
The issue is its still 7 mana.... and the heal is really really weak. If you want a flexible card for that slot just run azure drake to get it out 2 turns earlier to draw into your actual heal over this garbage its a massive tempo loss. If you play this card on 7 mana to heal your going to loss unless your opponent has a deck that does nothing at all.
FOREVER I hated this card because it helped druids get their combo faster, but today they nerfed combo... Now I don't know how to feel. Was this truly necessary? Blizzard thinks it was, and it probably will be with the new cards coming out.

Thanks for adding the option to heal 5 to Ancient of Lore. Druids don't always need to draw cards.
Ppl compare it to drake but hey did u all forget that it still can heal. But anyhow, I don't think this card is good anymore

They should eliminate the choose one option and give you both effects for that cost. Who would play this over a 6 cost sylvan?
People keep saying 5/5 for 7 mana draw a card is bad? It heals for 5 as well amazing how you all leave that out.
