Guys the card obviously gets the new mana cost, it would be absolutely disgustingly broken if not. It's simply a new random minion every turn, nothing more or less.
Either they have coded in some new type of mechanic which can track a certain card in your hand and apply an effect to it or they have made extra versions of every single card in the game and is forced to do the same for every new card they release...I believe they've done the former :P

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
apparently this is how it works "It changes every turn until you play it. It has a special glow on it and a tooltip if you mouse over it to remind you that it is Shifter Zerus."
So many people saying the card is shit, how can you even tell? people said Dr. Boom was shit before the release (pointing at you Trump) and just look out it turn out.
It's one of those cards like Elise or Esportal, you can get a crazy good card or pure bollocks but I'm just glad it exists.
Can't wait to see what's next to build crazy decks with this card in it :D
I don't understand how this can be good, a random card has more chance to be efficient than a card I chose to put in my deck?
Imagine you're playing CW or Renolock. You're facing aggro, then you're pretty satisfied with 2,3,4 drop this will give you. Other game you will face control deck, then you're waiting for late game bomb that will decide the game. The most universal card in the game, this card is the bomb.
A little bit underwhelming. Why not give the minion (1) mana discount? Or at least let us discover a minion to turn into. Or let it change into a random minion that always fits your curve?

I dont think people realize how powerful of a card this is. This card does so many things, it helps curve out, it allows you to play multiples of a legendary. it can give you a shit minion sure but can also give a game winning legendary. I have a feeling this card is going to make a lot of players cry.
Some of you are ridiculously dull. Did you forget why you play Hearthstone in the first place? Not every card has to be a meta-defining card that's going to automatically go into your deck. This guy is fun, F U N, that's the point isn't it?
Also think it's being underrated by many. One of the only cards that's equal against both aggro and control metas... you can let it be something relevant against both.
Interesting. It's better in decks that keep a large hand, because it has more chances to transform into something that just happens to be your best option for the turn. You wouldn't want it in a deck that plays out on curve, since it usually won't cooperate, and it's useless as a topdeck.
The question is whether a control deck will have room for a powerful but unreliable card. I think the same decks that run Elise Starseeker could be interested in this. It's a similar effect on a smaller scale.

Oh look 1 more reason not to give Blizzard a cent for this horrible expansion.

Dr. Boom is Dr. Boom, but Shifter Zerus could be ANYTHING!
For just 3200 dust, we can get every Gold minion in the entire game! Blizz done fucked up.
