I have a Reno Mage deck... it's generally pretty slow, and I have Shifter in it... its obviously a "fun" card and has no guaranteed consistency, but with this mage deck, oftentimes there are loose turns in the early game where you're just pinging or using a small removal spell.
The thing that people overlook is that it can sometimes be very beneficial to net a minion from a different class than the one you are playing. A lot of the class minions for other classes are not neutral minions because they would be abused by other classes. So, being able to get one and play it instead of pinging is very useful for getting through the early/mid game.
The card is in no way great by any measure, but does have a niche place in super slow decks.
Also, nothing quite like popping a 7/7 on turn 4 as a mage, or surprising the opponent with a king krush or malkorok
Bleh, this thread is better served for sweet Zerus stories, not "nanananers". Someone made a prediction, it was wrong, get over it.
As far as deckbuilding and card value, this card is amazing! It's amazingly fun! Got yogg saron on turn 10, so I was able to yogg into yogg two turns. How fun is that!?
You can't just change the purpose of a thread. The original purpose of the thread was to discuss Shifter Zerus. I'm pretty sure coming back to all the people who said this card would be good is discussing, whereas ''sweet Zerus stories'' aren't really part of the discussion (they just show that a rng-based card can sometimes luck you out). And I haven't seen anyone say this card can't be fun, it's just that we were talking about how good this card would be, and just because a card is fun doesn't mean it's good.
Also, the nananaers aren't the ones who started the calling the other side out. It's this guy who did To all the "unplayable", "trash" etc. naysayers of the present thread: I expect you to raise your hands in approximately a month from now, and have the courage to admit you severely underestimated the tempo gain it provides and the public's need to have some fun outside of a strictly predictable and god-awful boring way your deck is supposed to be played. Ok?
Thread discussions change all the time from their original purpose, usually devolving into bickering over minutiae. If you're looking for validation, I'm pretty sure this Bloodysundae unsubscribed from this thread a while ago.
Like I'm going to after this. Trust me, I tried nananer-ing a thread that 'discussed' how rogue was going to be garbage after BF nerf. No one came back. But have fun!

Atleast he should've had the balls to stand up and say ''I was wrong''.
Fuck cubelock
Got him in a pack... pretty cool card. I'd say he's around 60:40 in terms being useful.
BUT don't craft it, there are far more cooler legendarys if you wanna spend your hard earned dust.
