I like the idea. I won´t cry if I pull it from a pack. Probably not competetive on a high level but should provide some fun on the double digit spheres of the ladder anyway.

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
it's like a "discover a minion" EVERY TURN, how is it not good? people play many "get a random minon" effet already: Raven Idol, Tomb Spider, Museum Curator, Webspinner, this guy rerolls itself for free.
It's nothing like discover at all. First most all discover cards have some sort of RNG limiter, such as Discover a "death rattle minion". Discover allows you to choose among three choices. Cards like tombspider and webspinner give you beasts, which allows you to further beast synergy which is important for those decks. This card just becomes whatever the fuck it wants to regardless of what you want every turn you hold it.
So it's far far worse than discover which cuts down on the number of potential creatures with definitions and then actually lets you choose among three choices. Additionally discover is weighted towards class cards as well.
"It's nothing like discover at all" seem a little strong statement, it's pretty close. A discover cost mana and gives you 3 choices right away, this card instad cost nothing rediscover, it just takes more time (one choice per turn) and can transfer into other class minions which can be a good thing depending of the class that is playing it. It's probably viable in slow and/or control decks, like priest, ramp druid warrior, etc. Also it could be very funny in arena.
It's really not a strong statement, it's nothing like discover at all. You can't ignore the rest of my points that high light this fact. Discover = controled group, RNG weighting and choice. This card = no choice, unsure on the RNG weighting and no control. It's has the same sort of randomness of discover, without any of the things that make discover good and viable. But even then the randomness of discover is HIGHLY controlled, this is just all over the place.
Imagine this: You hold him in hand and when you're opponent is one turn from winning you get the perfect card.
for instance: in wild going up against a mage who has ice block out, and this turning into Kezan Mystic allowing you to steal the ice block
It turning into a Bomb Lobber when your opponent has a strong minion at 4 or less health that you need removed out alone
turning into a BGH (assuming current bgh not Post Nerf bgh) when your opponent gets the 30/30 out.
this card would be an amazing tech card for a meta where there are too many tech cards to include them all. That's what you'll want out of it. For it to change into the 3rd version of a tech card you've already used. For it to give you a taunt when you're in top deck wars and desperately need it. This card is essentially going to sit in your hand all game, most games. Changing into random minions, some games it'll be a game changer, others it'll be a decent body for when you just don't have an answer. Imagine getting it to change into that last piece of your combo when you need it. Sure, it won't be amazing most games Often times it'll just be played as another body, other times it'll be that mukla champion that you didn't put in, but find yourself at 1 damage from lethal.
My question though is: If it changes into C'thun and i play a card that buffs c'thun will it receive the buff and will it keep the buff when it changes again. Hell, farther more If i play mistcaller (for one of my joke decks) will it lose the buff when it changes?
I think it's not particularly good or bad, just fun and very playable. I'd run this in some control decks, but not any other kind of deck outside of control.

Not every card as to be meta-redifining. Tomb Spider for example is an okay arena card. Raven Idol let's you pick between a spell and a minion but you choose from a very wide range of minion still. You don't always pick a card you play on the same turn. It discovers from a wider range than discover card, yes but I don't see how that's a bad thing. The main advantage that Discover cards have over this is letting you see 3 choices right away. But if you have a very control heavy deck you could often afford to wait and let the card shift until it turn into a minion that answer the current need. So instead of getting 3 choice only this turn for a mana cost, you get 1 choice every turn for no cost. I guess we disagree on the potential. I am eager to see people try this card.
FIrstly you can't assume this card will EVER shift to something you need. Meanwhile a discover card allows you to plan ahead, this is HUGE in the competitive scene. You MAY get a choice every turn or it may just end up being something that is low impact and bad or too costly the entire time. There is a cost, holding a card that is otherwise doing nothing for you. Sure it COULD give you something, that but the chance it'll give you the impactful good card you need is very very low. Meanwhile you are effectively one card behind.
Again, if this sees play it'll only be in control decks, but I am dubious. While control has the largest opportunity to just sit on turns control doesn't like to be down in cards. They NEED to hold multiple options and this can impede that and will more often than not.
Also who said anything about wanting it to be meta defining or even good? I don't. I am perfectly fine with it being the fun little card it is. I am not a super competitive player only trying the legend grind once before getting bored with it. Didn't even quite make it, though I honestly feel that is because I don't find grinding out games that fun. I would much rather play fun creative decks with my friends, and hence why I am happy with the card. I am only stating that I don't believe it to be competitive, not that that is a bad thing.
I plan on making a Thistle Tea/Gang up/Control rogue deck with this little fella. As some one put earlier, a swiss army knife deck. Swiss Army Shifter :D And a Wisp Saron Deck in wild. Also a control hunter with no actual creatures and Yogg :D
I don't know why everybody is asking the same question.
The card says everything. At the start of your turn it will transform in a random minion. the cost will be of the new minion. Next turn it will be another and so on
Holy fuck this is potentially very strong in a control deck.
Edit: wait a sec, does its mana cost change as well? In that case it's crap.
I've not been able to find an official answer but lots of people think that the mana cost changes as well... I really don't know in which case you can play this minion. It's really too random.
Wow, this is awesome. I may just craft this. This game has gone completely casino Randuin RNGsus roll-the-dice-and-pray on us anyway with all these bullshit RNG cards, so why not embrace the madness?
I'd love to pull a Cabal Shadow Priest out of my ass as a Warlock. Surprise, motherfucker.
People all over the place are complaining about "Why would you put a random minion in your deck instead of a certain one you want?"
1. Because it can give you minions from other classes.
2. Because of random scenarios where it can help, for example:
a) Nobody runs Hungry Crab because it's only useful against specific decks - MURLOC DECKS. So there is a chance that when you play against a Murloc Paladin you get this card to turn into a Hungry Crab and that would be awesome.
b) Suppose a mage pulled a Stalagg from Unstable Portal and it died. Wouldn't it be nice if this turned into Feugen? xD
And the list of possible random scenarios goes on and on...
These are the kind of cards that i just LOVE :D After so much trash we might see something extraordinary

Blizzard are really pushing the Randuin meta. Love it.
Seems nice in arena

it is half controllable random card. sounds good, isn't it?
Not when you get crappy minons 65% of the time
Oh my fucking god you can get this from Dark Peddler
Imagine that.

the random minion it turns into will have the cost the same as that minion. if it turns into Ragnaros the Firelord it will cost 8 mana
