It is a good card. There is no need to playtest it, it is obvious. Everyone who makes a different statement hasn't played/put thought enough into this game.
I dont think people realize how powerful of a card this is. This card does so many things, it helps curve out, it allows you to play multiples of a legendary. it can give you a shit minion sure but can also give a game winning legendary. I have a feeling this card is going to make a lot of players cry.
I think this card is super fun, but ultimately not playable. It COULD help you do those things or it can just muck up your hand. Worse yet when you draw it, aside from MAYBE turn 1 you are drawing a card you don't want to play immediately and may just turn into creatures that you dont' want to play over your own cards. It could turn into something useful or maybe even game deciding, or something less impactful or mediocre. Personally I don't know if that is good enough to waste a potential draw on. If I draw this guy, then I am drawing a card that I don't even want to play right away and may not want to for a while.
Maybe this guys is ok in control where you can take a large number of turns to wait for this to be playable...but that idea just sounds bad to me.
There are plenty of cards you draw in Control Warrior that you don't want to play immediately. This card fits just fine into the Warrior waiting game, and if it ends up fodder for the Golden Monkey, that doesn't feel too bad either.
I will admit, I thought this was bad at first glance, then I thought about it...
Control decks like priest & warrior will get a lot of value out of this guy. He's not without danger as you draw him turn 10 and you just stare at it wishing it was something else, but if you wait a turn he will be.
But I don't think it fits in any midrange deck. Those decks want action on cards they draw, and this guy ain't it.

Really now? That is quite a statement to make with no supporting points. I can do it too!

I actually addressed this as a point later in the thread. Mostly that I agree if this card works at all, it's going to be in a control deck that has a lot of dead turns. That being said, Golden monkey fodder is the worst argument in favor of this card, any card can be golden monkey fodder and I would rather have a card I can count on but didn't need to use than one I will more than likely not get to use but has a minuscule chance of being game winning.
Terrific card if you think that any card will be better than a simple 1 1/1, AND you have the luxury of choosing when to play it according to your mana and the way the game is evolving. If you get it early, the possibilities are endless, if you get it in the middle game it can be instantly playable since most of the minions are around the midrange, and if you get it in the late game then you can also afford to play any big guy that you get, making you the star of a Trolden video.
Plus, its extremely low mana cost makes it instantly playable in any deck that wants to experiment and have some fun. Removing just one card out of your deck for it seems like a very easy decision that will hurt the consistency only in a very few cases.
Of course, like most of the WoG cards this fits in a slower meta, which I don't see so far, especially with no alternatives to Healbot, Belcher, Loatheb and Zombie Chow in Standard.
This will likely never see constructed play except in RNG only decks, but it is actually not a bad card and is a good pick in arena. It offers a flex spot, so you can let this card sit in your hand until you get a minion that works well in the current board state.
Cards that have to sit there in your hand in order to achieve anything at all have not been great so far, see Bolvar. Also remember the majority of cards are actually quite poor. Think of the discover mechanic - even when discarding 2 of 3 possibles you still end up taking junk sometimes.
Dude, this is a control warrior vs control tech, just like Elise. No more, no less. Yes, there you can wait till turn 30 if it so pleases you.
The same argument can be made about Elise. If fulling your deck with legendaries would be any good, why not put 30 legendaries in it in the first time? Yet Elise is in every control warrior deck, in some priest control, in some reno decks as well. Because when those control decks play against each other, they can WAIT.
To all the "unplayable", "trash" etc. naysayers of the present thread: I expect you to raise your hands in approximately a month from now, and have the courage to admit you severely underestimated the tempo gain it provides and the public's need to have some fun outside of a strictly predictable and god-awful boring way your deck is supposed to be played. Ok?
I think of this card like a slot machine. Every time your turn begins with this guy in your hand it's like the lever on a machine is pulled and the resulting roll is random. Sometimes will be you hit the jackpot, sometimes you make your money back, and sometimes you play forever and go into debt with no good hits...
I can see this card maybe played in decks that can have hands that have cards that will sometimes never have a good chance to be played...this card could sit in hand forever or it can be the best play you could make for that turn...

Fuck Yeah!!! Day 1 golden craft if i don't pull this golden. happy to see more RNG elements being added to the game. #MakeHearthstoneGreatAgain
Just an ordinary guy trying to live an extraordinary life. Oh and make decks along the way for funsies.....^_^
Its funny to see how many people cannot understand the mechanics of the card.

Best card ever :D
Insane!! I want this in my decks!!! fk
This card has to be the most interesting one released so far yet, although I am not entirely sure about its viability in a deck.
By the fel armies of Sargeras... FOR THE BURNING LEGION!
This is Dark Peddler value hahaha

Definitely love it, will play it in a few decks for fun, competitively though...not sure but can't wait to try it and find out.
Man, this card is F U N! And isn't that what the game is about?!

Bet there will be a new fkn brawl rule that all cards in your deck are Shifter Zerus.
