You realise that your 1 mana c'thun will get all the c'thun buffs you've played in the game right? so it'll be a 1 mana deal X (assuming you're playing c'thun in a c'thun deck... and drew the cultists.) so coping that god is actually really good.
What... I can't stop thinking of some of the insanity, like malygos, or blood.. Ragnaros and even unearthed Raptor can have some fun... The OLD GODS!!!
Then reality set in. This is five mana. And a minion so no Prep Shenanigans. To clone those amazing minions guaranteed you need 4-5 coins, good luck on that, or pray it survives (YEs conceal works also but in that case cloning it feels hollow, particularly in malygos or bloods case as it'll achieve anyway) . It's good, pretty powerful when used right otherwise it's a five mana 4/4.
On a side note the art bothers me, seeing a hero basically (That is Valleera right?) on a card feels off.... don't ask me why
thats not valeera, is a generic blood elf rogue XD
Actually, since the buffs are attached to the hero, unless you played your first C'Thun as a 6/6, the copy will not do only 1 damage, it will benefit from the buffs as well.
Though I do wonder if Shadocaster's effect will override the buff like Aldor Peacekeeper?
good point, but assuming that if your C'Thun get hit by Aldor, you ShadowStep it, and when you play him again he retains the buff, the 1/1 copy would do the same i imagine.
Wonderful card! Will probably make deck archetypes on its own. So many cards and effects to synergize with. Would love this on Malygos Rogue. Even if it doesn't hit Malygos himself, on-curve it hits Tomb Pillager for an extra coin. Also opens up bonus Violet Teachers, Gadgetzan Auctioneers, Bloodmage Thalnos, etc.
Comboing this is going to be a lot harder than people think. If your big threat minions live for more than 1 turn, it is likely you already have a strong grasp on the game anyway. I can only see this being played in a midrange death rattle rogue. That is because that deck is ahead on board most of the time and can easily use the battlecry whilst still gaining value from the 1/1.
Might be playable, nowhere near as good as the poll suggests though. People like living in Magical Christmas Land, which is clouding their judgment on this card (any many others).
Problem is it doesn't pass the stats test. Stats are poor for cost and unless you copy something of amazing value the 1 mana 1/1 is also very bad stats. The text on said minion will have to be insane to make up for the tempo loss. Certainly a build around epic. Will it see play, who knows? Weak bodies traditionally don't see play unless their effect is extremely good. Not convinced.

My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
An insane text! I feel this card could do some beautiful things in quite a few decks.
this can be very interesting, I bet people will come up with some insane combos, very excited
Awesome card!
There's an achievement for this? :D
Could finally make mill Rogue viable. Bran + this on Coldliight. Plus put in some Gang Ups and Brewmasters and it will be fun times ;)
Rouge the Bat.
i wonder if you do this to cthun if he gets his buffs?

Love it.
If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.
How does this work with C'Thun and his buffs. Want to know if there is some extreme shenanigans with this Emperor Thaurissan. C'Thun Conceal Shadowcaster Shadowstep

Use with Reno Jackson, Shadowstep and Vanish to outlast everything.

Except that if either of those cards lives for an entire turn so you can copy them you've probably already won ....
