In his reveal video, Noxious asked, if Brann Bronzebeard was the randomly summoned minion, would the battlecry trigger twice?
My guess is because the battlecry has already started its trigger, Brann won't trigger it a second time. I'm pretty sure Brann doubles it at the start of the played card's battlecry, and won't check in the middle.
The fact that Deathwing destroys the board twice with Brann out implies that Brann's ability works at the start of the battlecry, because he would be dead from the first clear, before the second one could go off.
Additionally, Devs recently said that Yogg-Saron, Hope's End would trigger his battlecry twice if Brann was out, regardless of whether either of them had died during the first battlecry.
It's a 5/5 that then has a Unstable Portal effect. But if the card has a battlecry you lose the benefit, and you have no chance of getting higher costed cards.
I think many of you are overestimating this card. Yes, its definitely good, but I doubt that it is OP and I doubt that it will be auto include. It does not fit that well for tempo mage, it's useless for freeze mage, maybe if there is some new mage archetype...
Not better than shredder, just getting that out of the way cause i see people spamming it. At least AoE clears this. Plus most 3 drops have weak stats. Obviously anything with 3/4 is optimal.
This is a great card, but that being said I don't think its as overpowered as people say it is. It will give you good value for its cost, it is not weak to silence which savannah highmane and Piloted sky golem are and unlike silverhand knight the extra minion it summons will usually have an additional ability since many three cost minions have an ability and both minions will have a bigger body.
However the RNG in this card can be both a strength and a weakness. Because you could get a weak 3 drop or a 3 drop that actually hurts you instead of helping you such as a murloc warleader against a murloc deck or summoning a deathlord which ends up getting destroyed and summoning something like a free ragnaros or Ysera. It can be potentially weak to board clears unless it summons an imp gang boss or a harvest golem but then again a lot of cards are weak to board clears anyway and not every class actually have good board clears. I think this is a good solid card and I don't think its boring but I will not start attacking people who disagree. We will not will not know how good it really is until it gets tested but on paper I think its really good.
Seriously... another OP Mage card for Arena, I thought the goal was to balance out the classes, not make everyone pick Mage even more than they already do.
Mage player here. Pretty cool card but I think some new early game would be nice since Mana Wyrm and Sorcerors Apprentice are kinda bad in non-tempo decks.
Wish they would develop a "shut up" minion that either stops battle cries or punches the opponent in the face for 5hp every time a battlecry is played.

Shredder that avoids the silence.
It's ok. Piloted sky golem didn't see a lot of play and it was arguably better than this and was a neutral mech.
"I serve the fire lord"
Blizzard.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
kickass
Piloted ShredderPiloted Sky Golem is that its summon comes from a deathrattle, making it resistant to board clears."Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
it´s a 5/5 body which is worth like 4 mana ( for a class card). so you pay 2 more mana to get a random 3 drop.
it´s ok but nothing to crazy. maybe ok in tempo mage, dont see it in other type of decks

Shouldn't be a common just because of arena. This will probably make mage the default class pick.

Shaku, the Collector gave me the Plague
Power creep.

Really, we take out shredder just for giving mage a new shredder?
What the hell? This worths 8 mana, for fucks sake.
