for people saying combo, people have been trying to make combo priest a thing for the longest time, this card does nothing to help it, you are still better off running mind blast instead of this and flash heal, less pieces to assemble.
The power of it is in the flexibility. If your Mind Blasts are in your last few cards, good luck winning. It's the same reason why I run 10 damage spells in Ancestor's CallMalygos, so that I can pull off a combo sooner.
but this card is the same thing as mind blast, see what im saying? it doesnt really help if you only have this card and your hero power, you just paid 4 mana to deal 2 damage. yes it makes heals more flexible but this card itself is a waste.
Yes I understand that it is essentially the same. However, in an OTK deck, the more combo pieces you have to choose from, the better. This actually allows priest to do 30 damage out of hand with Thaurissan reductions. Clearly it's not a good card in most priest decks but it's excellent in a stall-then-OTK deck. You would be wasting this by playing it with hero power early on.
I'm really trying, but I just can't see this card being run... the only slot this card would occupy, as others have pointed out above, is the slot where Auchenai Soulpriest sits, and would you ever replace this card with that? I'd rather pay the extra 3 mana to put a 3/5 on board.
For anyone whose ever worked in retail before, the reaction people will have to this card is simple: to think about in their decks, but no one will actually pull the trigger and include it.
It's easy to think of useful things to do with the card, but it's simply not good. Between this, Convert, and Confuse, Priest has really gotten some awful 2-mana spells.
Why bother pointing out its an epic? Are these guys saying its supposed to be a premium card because its not a rare? Honestly it does exactly what epic cards are supposed to; its situational and bad alone but when combined with other cards it can be the best card possible to be holding.
This card would be very impressive at 0 or 1 mana, but unless we get some creative new healing spells, this is going to be tough to play. It reminds me of Lock and Load, which is actually a really good card, but hasn't seen much play at all. (Though, maybe that's just because face hunter is still a better deck.
It's obviously not meant to replace Auchenai. It's most likely offered to be used together with 2x Auchenai, Justicar and heals in a new aggro/combo priest deck, maybe with shadow damage and/or new cards that haven't been introduced yet. But on the other hand Zombie Chows are being phased out from Standard, so an important tool for stalling as well as damaging your opponent (with Auchenai) is gone. In Wild however things will be different.
Looks like fun but does it make shadow priest viable now...? Probably not.
It doesn't really have any synergy with Shadowform. I have really been hoping for cards with "If/While you are in Shadowform..." effects/triggers. Incentivize that play style a little more.
Auchenai on a stick, yes please. I'm gonna mess around with both combo priest and aggro priest. #AuchenaiTooSlow
Spitefull Priest to legend February 2019
time to do it again x d
This may see play in a Yogg-Saron deck. And there are moments where you don't want to play auchenai because you want to heal on subsequent turns.
So I don't think it's trash, but quite niche.

Awesome. Makes miracle priest more viable.
can work well with corrupted healbot
Nice alternative to Auchenai
Priest continuing to be the gimmick class.

I think you play this with auchenai in your deck so something like circle of healing is more feasible to do.

The only beenfit of this over Auchenai is that you have the guaranteed ability to heal the turn after. could be beneficial. probably won't see play
combo with reno OP
