This cards purpose is only FUN. The scenarios that make this card worth building deck around are so rare that it is safe to say, THIS CARD IS ASS. why? if you are really asking why, there is no point in explaining, because you not understanding something so easy, would not be able to even understand the explanation.
Honestly people have been bashing me for saying things like this, but its the truth: Cards like this are only slowing down the growth of a hearthstone into a mature game, because large percent of community are stupid people who actually think that rng cards like this are good, and not just fun, and blizzard wanting to answer demand with releasing these "casino" cards is what slows down the growth. Every card like this released in an expansion takes a slot for a card that could have been a good one. But with time (with a large amount of expansions released), i guess even stupid ones will realise, when the pool of rng crap increases so much, that smth that was never even close to being reliable, isnt even that anymore, whatever that state of reliability you can call.
Oh yes, the good old "hey if you don't believe me clearly you are simply stupid". That's definitely what we call a convincing argument.
So let me get this straight; your issue is that Blizzard made a card with "random" in the card text, people think it's good (they used that absurd thing they called math to come to this conclusion), and clearly this signals the death of Hearthstone's hopes of becoming a legitimate game in anyone's eyes. Oh, and that this card wasn't made because there was a team of developers who thought it was fun or interesting, but rather wanted to fill their "casino quota" for the expansion.
I am deeply, deeply sorry for a community that enjoys a set composed of something more complex than 134 vanilla minions and Dark Bomb-esque spells. It's so very dumb of us to want our game to be interesting and varied, and it must be taxing on your big smart-person brain to have to explain to us why we should learn to hate fun for the good of the game.

Lets say your playing a minion based rogue deck and the only spells you cast this game are gang up, fok, beneath the grounds, and burgle. I can see some value there. Or infinite vanish from turn ten?
He casts random spells (of any class), not copys of the spells you´ve casted before.
First off, i really think this card is not that bad considering there are way more spells that aid you if cast random instead of harming you e.g. arcane intellect, flamestrie, arcance missile and so on.
Now i got still 2 questions though:
1. Does Yogg-Saron profit from Spell Damage? Considering the Spells are cast by him i guess not, however i#d like to know for sure.
2. What if you got Brann on the Board and either Brann or Yogg dies before the 2nd Battlecry triggers? Would it still go of twice?
Edit: Oh my God, that simulator! It just simmed an auto win, Unleash + FoN + Bloodlust + Roar

1. Why would you think they're cast by him? You control the battlecry, and I imagine you'll control the spells. I'd honestly be more surprised than not if you don't get benefits from spell damage.
2. Unknown. There's no precedent to be able to tell about this specifically - though it should be noted that other effects don't trigger if their source is dead before they'd go off (ie. Wild Pyro won't trigger if it is killed by the initial damage of a Whirlwind). I'd lean towards the "no double" side of things, but we'll have to wait and see.

Because it said so in the FaQ: Oi! About Yogg, the spells count as "cast" for things like counterspell or mana wyrm? CORRECTION! Spells cast by Yogg-Saron will NOT buff Mana Wyrm, interact with Antonidas, trigger Flamewaker, etc.
Also just came up with another Question,, considering spells are cast by him and not by the player would overload via lightning bolt etc still occur?
It's a potentially high value battlecry, for sure, but it's just too damn random. I think it'd help more often than it would hinder, but not only would it lose you the occasional game (that's right, spending 10 mana to put yourself in a position to lose), but it loses so much statswise in the process. You're effectively getting the stats of a 5.5 drop, to maybe get some good value.
However, I actually think it'll see at least get tested in control warrior. Elise worked for a similar reason - use spells and tools to control the board, then convert unneeded cards into possibly game winning legends. In Yogg's case, it'll be "play at least a few spells - Shield Slam, Bash, Slam, etc", then drop this when you have an empty board. I don't believe it can target itself with the spells (as battlecries happen before it enters the battlefield, if I'm not mistaken), which means you're far less likely to be harmed by the spells. You can still get burnt hard by something like Astral Communion or Soulfire, but something like Sprint or Mind Control and you've gained a solid advantage from just one of the spells.
I'll still lean on the side of caution and say that it won't end up being good enough consistently enough, but I can't imagine it won't even get tried.
Also, it's fun as all hell, so whenever I'm doing some gold portrait farming at rank 20 I'll likely include it in those fun decks.
I think some people are just looking at this card with the pros and cons as a mage, but well it literally can cast any spell from the game, from brawl, execute, sprint, eviscerate, starfall, equality, etc....the possibilities are endless and to be honest the chances you get pyroblast 3 times are just way too low.

Who's the Beatdown?
There is no rl, just afk.
haha it's really fun, thax
imagine 6 Brann Bronzebeard + this and a lot of spells used.
If Yogg returns to your hand via Shadowstep or Vanish, do his spells count as spells for the purposes of playing him back again?
I would very much like to win by crashing the game casting 42 spells in a row randomly
on one hand, the effect can be auto win, on the other hand, you could pyro yourself to death....
yup, running it. casino mage gets more casino (hopefully, house wins.)
Note targets are random, so it could kill itself; or Pyroblast your own face...
Unlike the other old gods this one isn't playable in a serious deck except maybe as a YOLO.

MADNESS WILL CONSUME YOU!
case and point, savjz's giant vancleef against druid.

Someone on Reddit posted a "Yogg Saron" simulator. The more I run it, the more it looks like garbage (I mean the card, not the simulator).
But if I'll happen to find Yogg, I'll definitely play it for fun in the adventure with the Djinny that gives you a wish each turn.
I can summarize my feeling on Yogg in 3 words: four hundred dust.

The end of your hopes to win the game. =\
At least you can die in a blast of RNG glory.
Imagine three absolutely "random" Pyroblast to your face. 0_o
Or even more funny situation when you play Lord Jaraxxus and next turn Yogg-Saron, Hope's End casts Sacrificial Pact on you. This card is made for Trolden ))
