Why do so many people think this will be in Face Hunter? Face Hunter wants to end the game before turn 8 and would never run an 8 mana deal 5 damage card as a finisher.

I mean, its not bad by any means, but its not as great as peopel put it.

Only one of the cards is sub 4 health. In terms of actual value it's really good, it's much better at controlling the board and tempo than a single 8-9 mana drop would be. It's a 4/4 taunt and a 5/2 charge assuming you use it before your 2/4 goes down.

Do think it'll be too slow for Hunter, but that's only because of the meta for the class.

I have never seen anyone play Icehowl + Owl, probably because using Owl on Icehowl removes the Charge, which means you've spent 10 mana doing nothing, except for maybe killing a minion with Icehowl.

Love this card, midrange hunter is probably my second favorite deck in the game (after midrange Shaman), and this card fits like a glove for the deck. Just can't wait to play this card!!

But I can't see it working that well for face hunters.

I don't understand why blizz named it "call of the wild" rather than stampede. This is pretty much what stampede does in WoW...when I think of call of the wild I always think of mark of the wild...

unless they have a card in mind to be the stampede...

ITT: Midrange hunter doesn't exist.

It was the most consistent and top ranked deck before TGT, and still strong after TGT, but It fell after LOE. This card fits PERFECTLY in that deck.

It's not 3 mana for each card, because each summoned minion from animal companion is above 3 mana value due to the randomness. Probably 3.5 in value each.

With this card you KNOW you will get each of them, no randomness, so really it's 10.5 or so in value. + you are getting the leokk buffs, which easily puts it into the 11+ mana range.

I just had the craziest thing happen. Less than THREE hours ago, I did a presentation on the book this is named after during English class. This means that within TWO hours of each other, I presented on a book and Blizzard revealed a card named after that book. Sadly, my brain has melted from this crazy coincidence.

This card 1V1 FS, that's how broken it is. Also gives you removal (5 damage) and board presence. It is just nuts.
