The feelings of both dread and excitement are strong thinking about this card right now. Please Blizzard, for the love of god, don't give Hunter any more aggro right now.
I think this will make midrange/control Hunter a thing. Hunter as a class only works if there is some inevitability of having a chance to close the game out at a certain point before falling behind (they cannot control effectively forever like warrior/priest or keep churning out stuff forever like paladins). The whole class is designed to end the game at a certain point, much like druid, and this card definitely helps for that purpose in the slower deck.
It opens up Hunter to playing a slower game with more board control with traps and such, because they can produce threats later in the game that threaten to take the game. The slower Hunter deck might be viable if they have the tools to play for board for several turns and be able to still have resources late game to pressure the face for lethal.
For example, against a warrior trying to brawl and stall, this card might make them use a brawl, or punish them heavily if they already used it previously, and take out some armor, etc... make them use resources and their turn to deal with a single spell, giving you a chance in the late game. Also against reno lock, you don't immediately lose the game if they play reno, you can still produce an offense after the full heal and have a chance. I like the card a lot. Will try Hunter for sure with this (never liked playing them before because they were forced to go face too early on for my liking).
Hail Hydra, the Hunter that sets traps and plays for board is nearly upon us. Now they don't fizzle out after turn 7. Hail Hydra!!!
i asked the hearthstone twitter but i wonder if, like animal companion, when used against the kel'thuzad fight, if this will summon 3 copies of Mr. Bigglesworth
Very good value for the mana spend. Floods the board with a Little bit of everything. Good choice as well to not make it 7 mana what would have enabled the Combo with unleash.
How is this overcosted? Animal Companion is 3 mana but this card removes the randomness since you get all of them.
I'm comparing it to the likes of Mysterious Challenger. I think 7 is a more appropriate cost for it. 8 is good and well balanced but I think 7 mana makes it slightly OP and could give control/mid game hunter a good nudge into top tier status.
8 mana spell for a hunter is a lot...it means anyway that you should take your opponent at 15 less hp by turn 8 e finish him with this if you already have some board
This card is broken. It will be in every hunter deck and with secretpally gone from standart it will be tier1 cancer bullshit, with dr6 and dr8 in one deck. Just remember my words.
Part of me thinks that an 8 mana spell sounds a bit too slow, especially considering that it's not some kind of combowombo OTK.
On the other hand, 8 mana for a 5/2 with charge, a 5/4 taunt and a 2/4 that gives +1 attack to everyone else (I already included the +1 attack for Huffer/Misha) is crazy value and tempo, especially if there's already something on the board that can benefit from Leoch.
Oh. its kinda owerpowered, but for control hunters, or mb... 5 in face for 8... Nah...

Let me change your mind...

"The Empire I remember never surrendered"
The artwork on this card is op af

Could be really good for mid range hunter in late game
You have emperor on board, and have Call of the Wild and Kill Command on hand. The combo would be insane.
Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.

Auto include in ALL hunter decks except concede hunters. Better than even Rag as a threat
better than ball of spider but still....meh!!

Definitely worth trying.
This card would replace Dr. Boom in Hybrid and Midrange Hunter, but no use in Face Hunter
Summoning stone hunter might be worth a try with this card.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.
Hail Hydra! hunter is back!
