So this new card The Ancient One doesn't seem to fit into the World of Warcraft. The old gods are supposed to be the ultimate evil and the stat line and name would imply this thing being somehow stronger and older. I don't mind Ragnaros, Lightlord because I have always thought what if/alternative timeline stuff was awesome but this card doesn't even seem to be from the same franchise. Even the art (while freaking awesome) does not look like WoW art. Anyone able to prove me wrong? or just general thoughts?
Actually the Void Lords are among the ultimate evil. The old gods, while obviously very powerful in themselves, are mere manifestations of the Void Lords only represent a fraction of their power.
As for this guy I would guess it's the hearthstone team deviating from canon again.

Why am I sticky?
That not how this work, thats how any of this work
This is just a card game, dont put a wow lore/logic in it
So a Old good should be 1000/1000 stats
Blizz </3 Shaman
The stat of a minion doesn't reflect its strength in lore.
Well, it may be 30/30 in stats, but it has no powers.
