You can ramp in the early game or get 5/5 stats in the late game. Really nice, solid card. Unlike Wild Growth or Darnassus Aspirant, you are completely happy to draw this late. It is stretching it for a ramp card at 4 mana though.
Nice ramp card that could be used in the late game either for card draw or split up body! Seems like a great choose card.
Amazing in arena.
You don't get card draw from this
Works like Wild Growth if you have 10 mana crystals.
no it doesn't. Since it has a body attached to you will get nothing.
If it said just "mama crystal" then it wouldn't, but it says "empty mana crystal" so it tries to give an 11th mana crystal permanently but fails so it will let you draw a card instead.
I don't see this as an auto-include card, and it certainly won't replace Keeper of the Grove (that Silence effect is too valuable). If I were to use this in my own Druid deck, I'd most often choose the Ooze, as putting two bodies on the board with one card, even small ones, is an effective way to regain or maintain board control. At 4 mana, adding an extra mana crystal is only effective if you're already ahead on the board. And there is no card draw with this guy, so Ancient of Lore (and/or Azure Drake) will still have a home in most Druid decks.
When it comes to ramping, grove tender could be considered better since you gain a full mana crystal so on turn 4 you could play GT and a 2 cost card (like wild growth) on turn 4. Well grove tendor is GvG card so moot point.
It's rumored that Keeper of the Grove is getting a nerf. That's what he means when he says that it's "leaving".
He actually responded and said he meant piloted shredder - but good to know! You have a link to that, or any of the other classic card changes? I can't wait to find out what is changing.
I personally think it trades too well, would have preferred the ooze to be a 1/2. Just having an extra body on the board that doesn't die to recruit or ping seems good enough. So either yeti stats or 3/3 plus ramp. Maybe I'm just overestimating the value of having a choice tho. Cards that are flexible seem really strong in Hearthstone.
Thought for sure we were going to see the first druid legendary, like corrupted Cenarius or something....Thanks Blizzard for dissapointing us with more trash......
Trash? Seriously? What were you expecting? Vanilla 7/7 for 3 mana? This is a really good card. Maybe it doesn't fit every druid deck but it's incredible in ramp in the very least. Someone always has to whine...

CM_Zeriyah confirms the translation and says the card is named "Mire Keeper"

Wild Growth on turn 2 --> 4 mana on turn 3.
Keeper of the Swamp on turn 3 --> 6 mana on turn 4.
And then, if you are super lucky... double innervate on turn 4 for an Old God. (Maybe Y'Shaarj in a deck full of 7-10 cost minions?)
This card is amazing, you will almost always get a 2/2 but vs control you can ramp of if you are far ahead you will ramp. I just ish this drew a card.

More ramp

Druids ramp options are now pretty insane! Wild growth into this into a 6-drop. In arema the 2/2 body will be more valuable
Damn you snowboarders!

Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
Just to splash come cold water on you guys.

heeeeeeey thats pretty good
That's pretty good.
That card is so a proof that Keeper of the Grove will leave the game! FeelsGoodMan
