Actually now that I think about it, this might see play in c'thun warrior as a one-of. Maybe you will need it to curve into ancient shieldbearer but if warrior get another good 6 mana, it'll probably ditch this.
Very basic card. Can only be used in C'Thun decks (no brainer) which is pretty straight forward. Buff your C'Thun and machine-gun your opponent to death.
But no one plays ogre.People play Sylvanas, Emperor,Highmane,Fire elemental (to name a few) on the 6 mana slot. And that card doesn't sounds better than those. It's 7/6 that gives a minion that ,in the best on cases, you are going to play in 4 turns +2/+2 and deals 2 damage.
For a 6 mana minion with no immediate effect it should give C'thun +3/+3, or have more text.
I'm pretty late, but i must point it out to people. That card shouldn't be Legendary, because it isn't The Prophet Skeram, but just one of his cultists.
It is because hearthpwn initially published the card name as Prophet Skeram. It is corrected later

I feel like a lot of the post here are people complaining about how bad a card is and how underwhelming this expansion is and they want stronger cards..... But that would just take us back to belchers, shredders and booms. Then they want every op card nerfed in six months....so what is it guys????
You have three options
1.Strong cards
2.nerf it into the ground
3.you're just never going to be happy
Blizzard can't make everyone happy so........
maybe...... just maybe, wait for the release and just be content about the change in the meta and move on. Everyone is a critic. It's simple, Don't like it don't play it. Try to enjoy the game and have fun.
These cards are not comparable. A random spare part is worth maybe a half a mana and Big Game Hunter keeps seven attack minions out of play. Big Game is getting gutted and 2+2+ to your win conditions is very valuable.
Okay, seriously. Who would waste a BGH on a 7/6 which buffs C'thun and has no other effect.... when you KNOW C'thun is waiting in the wings. And if you've played this guy, you know C'thun is gonna be an 8/8 AT MINIMUM.
So you really want to waste a BGH on this? On turn 9? When I have cards in my hand that may or may not be C'thun?
If your opponent uses BGH on this it means C'Thun requires an answer, or maybe people will use two BGHs. Which will be a real shame if they have to play two minions that were nerfed and are overall underwhelming cards. C'Thun is looking better and better by the minute.

I mean this card represents, if you play c'thun, a 7/6 that gives another card +2/+2 and deal 2 dmg.
a 6 mana 9/8 that deals 2 dmg is pretty good, now sure it doesn't work that way, but that's just the value breakdown of it.
Far better than ogre if you play c'thun.

Can't complain about 17 stats for 6 mana.
For the love of God I hope they do nerf Big Game Hunter enough, stop ruining my fun you little pest!

A decent card. Not quite on par with cards like the Servant or Elder, but ok if you need late-game C'Thun buffs.
Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Man they better nerf BGH or else
should be better
You wouldn't run this in a C'Thun deck. The stats are too bad to be worth such a minor effect.
How good these cards are heavily depends on how good c'thun decks actually turn out to be pretty much.
Remember mech bear cat ? Was it playable ?
I could see this being played in a late game control C'Thun warrior as at least a one off. Assuming the big game hunter change follows through.
