Yea... I'm enjoying the reveals; however, I think to how I did with TGT... and just seeing all the released cards at the same time without spoilers. I am still not sure which way I prefer it.
Yeah. Though I try to tell myself that most are going to be unplayable trash like The Boogeymonster because Blizzard are labouring under the misconception that bad cards need to exist.
But then occasionally there's a decently interesting one and I'm addicted to F5 again!
Yeah pretty hyped for reveals, maybe even more hyped for a bunch of OP cards being cycled out in standard and how they will adjust Classic/Basic cards.
With League of Explorers I think they did a pretty damn good job without printing too many busted cards but making new deck types available. If they can make something on that level again I'll be very happy to throw money at them. I just hope we don't get too many more Boogeymonsters though, that card makes Icehowl look like a boss.
Whilst i also really love this time right before the realease, i wish that they would release it earlier, because nearly 2 months since the first announcement is excruciatingly long.
Also i think it would be cool to release the next expansion without announcing it, just putting it in the shop and see how long it takes people to realise there's a new expansion available, now THAT would be hillarious. It would also make the pack-opening process much more interesting, as people are trying to put together all the cards from the set and would go crazy over the possibility of some cards lurking in the shadows, not having been unpacked so far (Blizz could make the cards not craftable for the first couple of days to prevent people from "cheating" and just look up all the cards in the crafting-menu). Well, that's just my opinion, but i think that's something to look into and i personally would really enjoy that kind of "treasure"-hunt.

Agree. But unfortunately never going to happen.
Something much more likely and good in a different way is when Blizz finally pin down exactly when they will release the sets each year (ahem, like magic). Then there wouldn't be all the speculation and disappointment. Let's just be disappointed once, rather than every few months!
Also then they could copy WotC's spolers - spoil some cards for a couple weeks, dump the rest of the set and let people theorycraft for a couple weeks, then release it.

+1 on this.
Knowing all the cards before release is great to build up the hype, but ruins the feeling you could have opening a pack and discovering the cards as they come...
I doubt it will ever happen though, for business reasons mostly: if you know there say Boom in the set just released, and you really want him, you could just buy packs until you find it or have enough dust to craft it. If you don't know what lies ahead, you may just stop after a few packs and start playing with what you have... maybe?

So many interesting cards. So few The Boogeymonsters. So many awesome pieces of artwork and names and lore snippets.

Getting obsessed? Me? No...or maybe just a little bit...or a lot...
It's something to keep me distracted from my miserable life.
