Of the things I expected, this was not one of them. All laughs aside, nobody is really talking about how good or bad this card is in play. I don't know how I feel about an 8/8 for 8 that heals 8. I think it's actually really good in a slow control paladin deck that requires tools to defend aggro. I would say that it's better than Ragnaros for the role it plays because you have way more control over the effect, you can easily make a situation where your hero is the only heal target. When I think about Guardian of Kings being a 5/6 for 7 that heals 6 only 1 time, Lightlord is WAY WAY WAY better for just 1 mana more. Better stats and repeat effect. Of course this is all contingent upon what Blizzard does with BGH. My concern is that, since they are bringing so many big minions into the game, people will play BGH more than ever unless the nerf is really REALLY big. But hey, even if Lightlord gets shot at least you healed 8mana and I'd say that's a 3mana value in itself.
Instead of making another rag lol create maraad or renalut morgain or alexander morgain or any fkin famous paladin in wow univers !!!
This is really the only problem with it imo. Wow is vast and has a very deep lore so any famous paladin would have been good instead of reusing a name. Otherwise I love the card.

And don't forget, it has a potential to be the ultimate kill tool, to deal with anything less than 8 attack, because it's just heals itself back (if you are lucky or nothing else is damaged). It can be rekt by pinging/hitting something else and "losing" most of the heal, but else, it's just cool.
Naga Sea Witch is looking better and better in Paladin. Going to be a lot of high-end drops to combo it with.
This card is definitely good, but it's not better than the other Ragnaros, Tirion, N'Zoth, and possibly Lay on Hands (depending on if you need the card draw) so it might not make the cut. Can only have so many late game minions/spells, even if you do run Naga.
Looks fine at all but really? A class legendary that's just a corrupted version of something? There are a lot of WoW characters that have yet to be a card.

Which seems fishy AF...
They're either exploring very strange creative directions or they're massively trolling us. I won't believe it until I see the card as a craftable in my collection.
healing random character for 8? looks bad unless you make sure only your hero needs that healing. 8 heal will usually be useless on minions. probably good against freeze mages though
Whether they are known or not, they're still funny. I don't see how this is forced. They already said they were making new versions of existing legendaries, like the new Hogger. Not to mention if you're to complain about paladins, I can barely think of any with any relation to old gods whatsoever.

Brode confirmed it as real and basically said "You guys were cool with hogger why is this too far fetched?"
I mean, I don't think Hogger is such a large figure in Lore. Rag is...kind of a biggie.
Dunno, it looks a bit confusing. First they reveal N'Zoth for the first time in HS, with the Old Gods being very large lore figures in WoW, so I thought "hey, HS is now going to tie in really big lore, yo!". And then, well, warlocks get reformed and Ragnaros starts working in a soup kitchen.
Perhaps in a few months Ragnaros is shown fighting against N'Zoth in a neat promo trailer for a new WoW expansion, or the HS flavor guys have really large creative leeway with WoW lore and I should take a few chill pills.
If it turns out to be an early April Fools, I'll have to clap slowly.
I like make-uped characters

We can live without pizza, but then, what for?
Control Paladin viable! Pogchamp!

I am just...sad. So many awesome paladins in the WoW Lore ---SPOILER--- with Tyrion death in the next WoW exp.
Blizzard is losing their mojo: making good lore for amazing characters, not this "Good" Ragnaros, the embodiment of evil.
Paladin looks like more than priests now with all these new healing minions and spells.
Pretty stoked for this one. Additionally, stoked to have both out, not that it's the best way to go. Just a rad board.

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.

On a quest to capture every zone in Azeroth into Hearthstone cards! Elwynn Forest, Redridge Mountains, Stranglethorn Vale and Northern Barrens!
Love this card. Maybe first Legendary I want golden ;)
Maybe april's fool...
