Hi! This is my first thread post here on Hearthpwn. So, as Whispers of the Old Gods approaches, phasing out Naxx and GvG, it got me thinking. Classic cards are now quite a bit more valuable than others, since they will always be available. This makes classic legendaries perhaps the most valuable and long lasting cards in the game. So, the question, if you could pick 10 Classic legendaries that are pretty much the safest bet to craft, which ones would they be?
To qualify, they must meet one of these three requirements:
1. They are extremely versatile and flexible
2. They are class cards it's nearly impossible to play the class without.
3. They are such good techs that they are worth their occasional use.
ps: If you need context on what I like playing, Midrange Paladin. God help me when standard rolls around :'^(
There are some other which are pretty good but not a must for so many competitive decks: Harrison Jones, Edward VanCleef, The Black Knight, Baron Geddon, Cenarius - besides them it's on you, there are dudes which can be nice choices such as King Krush, Prophet Velen.
Ragnaros, Tirion, Sylvanas, Thalnos, Ysera, Alexstrasza, Grommash, Antonidas. Actually disagree with Malygos and Jaraxxus unless you're playing a handlock/otk deck. Harrison is a phenomenal tech card, as is Black Knight.
Harrison jones Sylvanas windrunner Ragnaros the firelord Gromash Hellscream Ysera Tirion Alexstraza Bloodmage Thalnos Antonidas Jaraxus, Eredar, lord of the burning legion

There are some other which are pretty good but not a must for so many competitive decks: Harrison Jones, Edward VanCleef, The Black Knight, Baron Geddon, Cenarius - besides them it's on you, there are dudes which can be nice choices such as King Krush, Prophet Velen.
Echoing a lot of the others,
Ragnaros, Tirion, Sylvanas, Thalnos, Ysera, Alexstrasza, Grommash, Antonidas. Actually disagree with Malygos and Jaraxxus unless you're playing a handlock/otk deck. Harrison is a phenomenal tech card, as is Black Knight.
No order
Lord Jaraxxus
Grommash Hellscream
Tirion Fordring
Sylvanas Windrunner
Alexstrasza
The Black Knight
Malygos
Bloodmage Thalnos
Leeroy Jenkins
Ysera or Ragnaros the Firelord
Everything mentioned above, but I would also add Al-Akir The Windlord because once standard arrives he'll be viable again.
Why has no one mentioned Cairne and Onyxia? One for N'zoth and the other in dragon decks?
Lord Jaraxxus
Grommash Hellscream
Sylvanas Windrunner
Alexstrasza
The Black Knight
Malygos
Bloodmage Thalnos
Easy, in no order:
Harrison jones
Sylvanas windrunner
Ragnaros the firelord
Gromash Hellscream
Ysera
Tirion
Alexstraza
Bloodmage Thalnos
Antonidas
Jaraxus, Eredar, lord of the burning legion
