My feeling about this card is that the original text was "Whenever this minion kills another minion, gain +2/+2", but since it was really too powerful, they nerfed it before its release... Now it's indeed useless!

Even this effect seems pretty bad for a 8 mana 6/7
If it got "+0/+4 per kill" it Might find Play in non-priest-controle As it may Stick on Board for a very Long Time. But like this it Seems to be another legendary that Nobody Wanst to Play and the Enemy hates you of you get it via unstable Portal or similar effects... Good Job Blizzards on improving the unhealthy Part of Randomness, that you Said you try to shut down...
Wait a second.. So we pay 8-mana for an understatted card that does literally nothing when you play it.. Then in order to make it get stronger, you have to kill off something else and weaken itself, or waste 6 damage on something small. Then after that, it's SLIGHTLY above stats for what it originally costs? LOL.
I normally never post to complain about new cards.. But my lord this card is GARBAGE.
Make it a 6-drop and I actually think it could be semi-interesting. But even then.. Not really that appealing of an effect for what's supposed to be a legendary.
*slow clap*
^Nothing more to say, it's a whole new level of garbage, hell i think bolf have more chance of seeing play than this.
Unfortunately, (a) this card has received a lot of flak, (b) the arguments about Gruul 2.0, BGH target, weak in tradings, mana-expensive etc. are all correct. I don't even see it as an Arena card. I can't really understand what the designers were thinking. They need to release some very lukewarm or even bad cards, I get it, in order to keep powercreep in check, to open up unpredicted gaming situations (for example from Unstable Portal, Sneed, Paletress, brawls etc).
But so far this expansion also feels very lukewarm to me, so it needs some serious boost and not... that. Until now, the released cards seem to follow a pattern of "one step forward, two steps back". Some interesting cards are introduced, very few being terrific (N'Zoth the Corruptor, C'Thun) and all the rest with lots of question marks. We have to wait and see what comes next, but to me so far WoG seems like the most underwhelming card set so far out of all expansions and adventures.
On second thought, BGH is getting hit by the nerfbat so perhaps both Gruul and this guy might have a place in some decks. I remember a time when Gruul was played. He was somewhat effective once, back when noone ran BGH and the game was new.
This "whenever this kills a minion" phrase seems like its going to be a running mechanic in this set.
Only saw a few cards so far, so there may well be a spell, or even small minion that could give it exactly this. So it would become a good way to clear a board of small minions (and then go for the face with a huge bang). Otherwise, yep, this card is useless.

suddenly, gruul doesnt seem that bad
Weak card. Not going to see play outside Arena. Good for Arena though.
meh... nice dust

So would you rather have -
6-7 on turn 8 that could start to grow next turn. ^ This
7-7 on turn 8 that will be a 9-9 next turn Gruul
or a 6-6 on turn 7 that can be a 8-8 next turn Kvaldir Raider
kvaldir raider is the best of this bunch imo and that only really sees arena play
Illidan Stormrage
Buuut but ... I dodge BGH. No you still suck.
Forgot to mention. It does improve elise. But only because it s a big drop
Yeah this card has so much randomness
On the other hand, when you need to clear this legendary. You can't easily do with small minions. That can be good in some situations.
Ofc you can. It only gets statts when attacking the smaller minions

Remove "attacks and" from the card and it will be playable. Otherwise it's just an instant 400 dust if opened in a pack.
gotta get my blanky ready :p
If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve.
If only this also had the Giant Sand Worm text.

I hope this is the Bolf Ramshield of the set and we get some better legendaries soon.
